Unfortunately my builder has directed my wife and I to Ferguson. I do dearly love being treated poorly by their people while they charge a premium for the products they sell.
We live 3 hours out of town and had an appointment scheduled for Friday at 10. At 9:15, after being in stupid I-95 traffic for over 2 hours they call to say we're going to have to reschedule the appointment.
Um, no, you need to figure something out.
We get there and are told after a bit of terse conversation that they are bringing someone in from another store to help us. Only problem is that will take 30-45 minutes. Wow, what great customer appreciation.
So we finally are talking to the salesperson, and all of the prices we are seeing are list prices. What's the contractor discount on these? Oh, these are final prices...
We will definitely be shopping our order around and will use the vendor who has the lowest prices.
I will not reward Ferguson's bad customer behavior by writing them a check for anything over our allowable from the builder.
Stay away from these clowns if you can
Update:

Compound that with wrong items being sent out to the jobsite, appliances damaged beyond repair being sent out to the jobsite and it was a complete debacle.
I provided spreadsheets to our contact with links to the products we wanted. And yet an incorrect bathroom fan, hand shower unit and toilet were sent out to the job where they were installed.
We still haven't gotten the vent and hand unit replaced.
I have no earthly idea how these people are still in business based upon our experience with them.
If I could I 'd give then...
