Bellissimo Pizza Co Inc — Restaurant in Virginia

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and unfortunately I won't be going back. The food was amazing when ate it. But, the service I received was awful. Upon arriving we waited for a while before we were asked what we want to order. It was like the guy was standing there just looking at us. Then after the line started getting longer he finally took our order. I ordered the pizza and wing combo with the Bronx bomber pizza and Buffalo wings. Then after seeing some other wings in the window. I asked what kind they were. And this man gonna tell me "it doesn't matter you ordered the Buffalo." At first I thought he was kind of joking. So, I just laughed it off and told him I wanted to change it to the Mango Habenera wings. He asked me and my friend was our food separate and we said yes. We both paid separate and he still put our food in the same box and bag. After we left there we were going to be in two separate places so we both needed our food in a separate box and bag. He refused to give me the pizza box and initially tried to give me a flimsy plate and small paper bag to put my pizza in. I asked if he could give me a box please. He told me it could go in there. I said no I want a box. So finally he went to the back and got me a to go box to put it in and not a pizza box. At this point I was very upset and I let him know that he had been rude to me since I came in here. Again unfortunately I won't be retuning there because I just paid $18.87 for food and was treated very rudely and he didn't want to give me the proper things to even take my food out...

My family (2 adults, 4 small children) visited Bellisimo and we were not impressed with the food or service. This place is not for you if you are on a budget. We spent almost $40 for 6 slices of sub-par pizza, a small salad, and 5 chicken wings. First off, they are one of those establishments that charges for water (bottled only). This drives me crazy. Regarding drinks, there is a sign that states "only ONE refill per customer" at the fountain station. Their menu is confusing so it will take you some time to navigate through the "deals" which seems to frustrate the workers at Bellisimo. When we got there we thought that the stale pizza sitting behind the glass was there to give you an idea of what you ordered. Unfortunately you eat from this display. They literally cut a piece from this and pop it into the oven. No surprise that the pizza was dry and the crust was hard since it looks like pizza you buy and let sit out all day. My wife had the Roma pizza and it probably had the equivalent to 5 cloves of garlic--apparently trying ward off vampires. I have had better pizza from the frozen food section at Walmart. To add insult to injury, the food upset our stomach. Don't be fooled by all the positive comments about this place...

Ordered the 2 cheese slice pizza lunch special with drink and its $6.99. Ordered another but added 1 topping and they changed it from a special to a slice for $4.50 and didn't tell me! I didn't realize until later that something seemed off with the price so I called them about it, since they never gave a receipt. They said by adding 1 topping, they changed the price to $4.50 per slice. So 2 slices for $9!!! for 1 topping other than cheese. This is insane! Then they added the cost of the drink on top of that. The special adds pepperoni for an extra $1 as posted...who knew that tomatoes on a pizza would result in it being $9. Additionally the tomatoes they added were an inch thick slices of tomato they threw on after they heated the pizza so none of it meshed well. The pizza was pretty mediocre at best. But charging that much for 2 slices of pizza is insane! They could have told me and I would have stuck with the special. I've had mall pizza that was much better than this with friendlier, more reasonable prices. I told the guy on the phone I wouldn't be back and got an Ok, dear. He didn't care....
