If I could give zero stars I would. I went in basically to get a side order of vegetable fried rice. It was $4.25. After paying I realized the chicken fried rice was only $4.75, fifty cents more so I asked him could I pay the difference and get chicken fried rice, his response was a quick NO. Now I understand its veggies included as opposed to just fried rice but then I said well let me just order $1 or $2 worth of chicken, again he said NO. I couldn’t understand why because at every Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to you could order $1 worth of extra chicken, (most are $2 now) but there has not been an issue. I asked why, he said because your order is ready. It was not, I watched him throw the veggies in with the fried rice, and he could have easily thrown in the chicken as well. I have never known any business to not want add on sales but his tone and demeanor were very rude. I told him then, I would never be back. Upon arriving home I found the rice to be a bit dry, and the veggies were basically a lot of cabbage strips, about two pieces of broccoli and a few carrot strips with big pieces of onions. I will definitely not visit that location again, especially with Tokyo Express being right beside it. They are...
Read moreThe food here is very bland and unflavorful.
We spent almost $50 on food for my family, since we were craving Chinese and this place had such high reviews for a takeout place.
We ordered crab Rangoon, spring rolls, Orange chicken, general tso chicken, pork fried rice, and their beef pan-fried noodles.
The Rangoon was fried so hard it cut the roof of my mouth, and the filling was very bland. The spring rolls tasted old. The orange chicken had zero orange flavor, too much honey, and the chunks of orange peel were very hard to chew. The general tso was not spicy at all, and the saice was very bland. The beef pan-fried noodles were very chewy and felt like styrofoam in your mouth, and was all vegetables with maybe four or five strips of beef.
The only good thing was their pork fried rice. That was delicious, so we kind of had to ration out our portions since everything else sucked.
I don't know why these reviews are so high. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because their portion sizes are large, especially their...
Read moreI normally love the bourbon chicken from china wok, but this is by far the worst bourbon chicken I've ever had from china wok. It didn't taste like any of the bourbon chicken I've had from other china woks. I was re really disappointed and gave it away, and I purchased 2 large portions of bourbon chicken. I thought it was just me, so I had my girlfriend taste it because we love China woks bourbon chicken. She agreed with me that it didn't taste anything like China woks bourbon chicken. I always have China wok put the bourbon sauce all over my rice. Now the sauce that was put on my taste like the sauce of the bourbon chicken, but the bourbon chicken sauce taste totally different. So I don't know what to think...
