Love it!! I hate that it's so far from where I live (Carrollton), but their inventory and selection is so much better than the other 3 Big Lot's that are closer to me, that it makes it worth the drive!! I got a fabulous deal on an electric fireplace/heater/tv stand, I purchased it online to pick up at the Hampton store. Site stated it was available there, everything went through fine, all I had to do was wait for the notification that it was ready for pick up. About 15 minutes later I got a call from the Manager at the Hampton Big Lot's. He told me he was going to have to cancel my order because they couldn't find my item! He was nice about it, said they looked all over the store, and even though it was showing they had 3 left in inventory on the computer, for some reason they just couldn't be found! Online earlier it said they were out in Newport News, and Gloucester but he said they had them....after much online searching the only store that had them was the Williamsburg Store. I had never been to that one before, but I made my online purchase, and was expecting a call telling me they couldn't find it either!😂...But to my surprise, all I received was an email and text telling me my curbside order was ready for pick up!!! Woo Hoo!! I rushed over there to pick it up! The drive was long, but so worth it!! Their store is very nice, organized, and BIG!! Big Lot's is BIG in Williamsburg!! It was great! The employee's we're helpful and friendly, the store was clean, even the other shopper's we're nice!!! Overall great experience!! Read moreI went in today to returned a product that was defective and I was treated horrible by the cashier at the counter and she also claimed to be a manger on duty when I asked to speak to a manger, so it was no one else that I could speak to and she was comparing the product that I tried to return which was a hair brush to an underwear. A customer in front of me, she was returning items and employee treated her very well and even gave her a hug and all, so I feel like it was personal, she was being discriminated against me. Have been trying to get in contact with customer service and corporate for hours now. But will keep trying to get in contact with someone to have this issues look in to and find out what the issues is with her. I did went to another big lot location and I was able to return the product with non problems and I was treated nice and kid...
Read moreThe furniture manager was very rude. I waited over ten minutes as one person was working in the furniture section. Once it was my turn she stopped and still helped a white couple before me. After I waited my turn.
Christine the furniture manager then immediately said I DONT HAVE ANY OF THOSE ITEMS. She didn’t check another store or offer to until I told her.
Then I ask for the store manager and she proceeds to tell me how well and how much customers love Christine. But I watched her be rude. The store manager Michelle made excuses for her behavior and talked about how every one loves Christine. I don’t care. I’m telling you about my experience with Christine.
