Excellent cigar shop in every way.

I asked for a recommendation for a medium-bodied cigar with a lot of flavor, and I am enjoying the product of that suggestion right now. I was surprised to see despite the size of the shop being smaller, they have a wide variety of accessories including a cigar Journal that not many other stores have. They have a lot of unique sub-brands of leading cigars that you usually don't even find even in larger shops. Very friendly atmosphere, and you could easily sit down and relax while enjoying a cigar and even getting some work done on your laptop.

Tucked away in a corner at Newtown, this small shop keeps a well stocked variety of cigars in its open humidor. Along with the usual stalwarts like Arturo Fuente and Padrón, Havana Connections carries a very good number of small boutique brands that are difficult to find in bigger shops.

Great environment, staff, and selection. Jason, the gentleman running the store during my visit, was extremely helpful. He spent almost half an hour educating me on the various options (without being pushy or salesy). Told him I was interested in trying pipe tobacco, and he did a great job educating me on the various types of tobacco, pipes, and how to properly pack a bowl and enjoy the ritual. This company is now my go to in Richmond and I will certainly come back to this shop the next time I visit...
