Let me preface this review with the fact that I rarely ate out prepandemic. My suggestion is to request for any server other than Marcus. Tonight my experience was fraught with issues, And luckily I will share them with you one by one. First my friend requested a booth which none were available, so they sat us at a small high top table. Next I asked for a Sierra mist with a lime wedge, to take the edge off the sweetness of the soda. And the Sierra mistconcentrate was out so I got soda water with a twist of lime. I brought the attention to my waiter who said "seems like we're out what else can I get you?" My response was a Pepsi with a lime wedge. Next my friend and I each ordered 30 wings. I requested all flats which brings us to our next issue. you can't request all flats on buy one get one free night. Not a big problem rules are the rules, but the real problem was the fact that we still ordered 30 wings sitting at a small high top table, so I drug the nearest high top table to create twice the size! That's the next issue My waiter had been inattentive so far as to keeping my drinks full, but the second I make a table large enough for the order we just ordered, he came running and making a scene, "where exactly was this table? You can't move tables around because of the mandate!". Idiot, how does removing an available table go against a coveted mandate? Nevertheless I stayed silent and said sorry. The next issue came when the wings finally arrived. I ordered Asian zing which is a very hot wing, 30 of those suckers. so yes I went through quite a few cups of Pepsi. Every single time asking for a lime wedge. After the first cup of Pepsi I no longer received lime wedges. Again not a big deal I stayed silent. Then came the box debacle. My friend and I each ordered 30 wings, 60 wings came to our small high top table. My inept waiter, brought us each a medium-sized box. not a problem for me save the environment my leftover wings barely fit inside. But my friend who only ate maybe seven of his 30 wings attempted but failed to fit them inside. he requested a large box which brings us to our next issue of the night. well I was in the restroom cleaning up from eating wings, he got a large to-go cup. So when I came out of the restroom, And the waiter asked if we needed anything I said sure I'll take a large to-go cup of Pepsi with a lime wedge. And of course that was an issue. he said "Normally I have to charge you for a large to-go cup the best I can do is give you a regular size. And don't worry I won't charge you for the one I already gave you, by the way who gave that to you?" My response was I'll take a regular cup with no ice, I still remained silent. This exchange obviously bothered my friend, Because he asked the manager on duty for a large cup for his friend since he had a large cup and he wanted everything to be even. That prompted the manager to come to our table. Now the bear had been poked. Being as it was close to closing time and my coughing due to not enough drinks while eating hot wings cleared out the eating area. I finally decided to raise my voice to the manager. Not a large incident just simply saying that I didn't want to talk about it and I wanted to pay my check and leave. So thank you Stephen Perticone for the free six-wing offer on the back of your business card, but your restaurant is an hour from my house, I only chose there tonight because of the BOGO special and I was in town near where my friend lives. this whole issue will be solved by either never eating there again or simply requesting to not have Marcus as my server. Thanks for listening to my rant and have...
Read moreWe stopped at this location Saturday evening around 7:30 pm. Sitting at the bar there were trays of leftover buffalo wing scraps that previous customers had eaten and empty glass cups. The bartender NEVER came to the end of the bar where we were sitting to clear off the dirty food trays and glasses or to take our order. There was a couple who came in and sat next to us and they waited just like we did and the bartender NEVER came to remove the dirty food trays and glasses sitting in front of them either. Finally, the guy went to the opposite end of the bar and talked to the bartender. I don't know what she said to him but he came back and told his lady that they were leaving. We still sat there trying to give the bartender the benefit of the doubt being that it was a Saturday and the football games are on and it's busy but no! As soon as she got all of her drink orders completed she still refused to come and remove the empty food trays and glasses in front of us and clean the counter and she refused to serve us. What is more disturbing is that there was a manager who walked to the bar area and keyed something in on the computer a few times and she stood there and talked to another employee and there were also two employees who stood in the corner at the bar and laughed and talked and then they walked away and came back and did the same thing about 2-3 times. Once I figured out how to stream the game from my phone we left. There are a few ways that I could look at this situation given the way it happened and the time of day and type of crowd that was in there but I'm not going to. Customer service at the bare minimum would've been nice. I didn't need her to go above and beyond. Even if she would've just come down and said she'd be with us shortly would've been okay. The fact that this bartender blatantly refused to do the rest of her job along with other employees was disturbing enough. They were not there to serve customers. I used to think this was a nice area to visit but now I have a different opinion based on the experience we had. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The employees need customer service training and if they don't like the job or being in a customer service position then they should quit and find a better job that fits them where they don't have to interact with people. I have worked in restaurants and know how hectic it can get. Just letting your customers know that you see them and will get to them can...
Read moreUpdate: This place is still a mess. I continue to come here because my kids insist, nothing has changed. If you come in and look in the back, you can find lots of orders just dying on the metal shelves in the back while the staff walk around laughing and eating pizza. Tonight I arrived at 5:50 for an order that was scheduled for pickup at 6pm. In the back I could see multiple orders just dying, including a couple of hot dogs. I have no idea how long they had been up there before I arrived but I did see them finally get walked to a table at 6:20. Imagine paying restaurant prices for a hot dog, sitting in the restaurant and waiting for at least 40 minutes, and getting it cold and crusty. My order was finally ready at around 6:30, but as usual, I looked in the bag and parts of the order were missing. I pointed this out and they offered me potato wedges instead explaining that they didn't have any more food pre-cooked. I imagine this is why it was left out of my bag in the first place, they plan on people getting home without their food and not doing anything about it. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business, I feel like the staff consistently do not care at all, not about the food, the customer, or the fact that you've worked hard for the money they are robbing from you. Management should consider replacing the staff and starting over.
Update: I owe an update here, they did reach out to me (as you can see in the response) and worked to correct the issue. I am satisfied with their correction, and will continue to order here for my kids, and will update the rating if future purchases go better.
I order take out from here fairly often, and it's always a disaster. My kids love the boneless wings here so I'm kind of stuck. I have had scheduled orders ready and sitting for pickup hours before the scheduled time and I've had it run an hour late, but what is consistent is that the order is wrong because the staff do not seem to care at all. The wings come unsauced, your fries won't be in the bag, there won't be any of the ranch you paid for. I have experimented with very large tips and they still don't care at all, pocket the money and hand you a bag of incorrect garbage...
