I love going to the movies and seeing new films whenever I am not working which is not often. Although they need to get different types of food and snacks for people with diabetes' I understand that through concession is how they make their money not when it's a time like this and no one is going to the theater. Then posting online about why people should not carry snacks in their purse because the theater can make up their own rules they can make up what they want....They cannot tell people what to put in their purse they cannot make people spend money greed is part of the problem in this place they are price gouging everywhere and I don't see anyone saying anything about it they go up on the price of everything and not the salary and expect people to be able to maintain poor people should I say. Anyway I will take snacks into the theater whenever I feel like it ! I don't worry about that let them do what they have to do and I'll do what I have to do. I don't see and I don't hear them saying anything about how often I go to the theater and I have a pass that I pay for every month. I don't hear no body saying I shouldn't pay them because I don't go often so I'm going to keep taking snacks in. If I don't buy the snacks it's because of a medical reason oh I just cannot afford to a naked say what they want and write what they want.. the salary here is why no one can afford anything except...
Read moreI like to go to the matinees. It's less crowded, and there are always short lines and more people to help you at the popcorn counter too. So you don't have to arrive an hour before your movie, like you do during peak showtimes. And remember customer service? I wish the manager took more care to teach their teen employees some manners, and how to comport themselves. After all it's their first job, and learning to be polite and helpful to the 'local' patrons will only serve them in business throughout their lives. When I had my first part-time job in high school, they told us, "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean", but being polite and helpful to the customers was paramount. Having to interrupt some rude, gossipy teens who seem to be intentionally ignoring my order and my interest in getting to my seat before my movie starts - just makes me want to slap the Hell out of them. LOL Ironically, I've had to do some 'racial profiling' of my own at this theater - cuz it's the white kids who have the worst manners. While the other kids always are always quick to help, have impeccable manners and welcome me to their theater like diplomats. I really appreciate that, after all, I've come to my local theater to enjoy myself - not to feel disrespected and irritated. More than a few times, I mumbled to myself, "Next time, stay home and rent the DVD - it'd be better...

Next, let me start with the pricing horrible . This theater reminded me why I stopped going to the movies. Ridiculous pricing no discounts no military discounts or discounts for children , just ridiculous. There’s another movie theater in Williamsburg called Movie Tavern price is half of their price and they offer military ,student discounts there price is cheaper so please go there. i’m a try to make this short. The employer told us the wrong theater to go to … The movie when we got there has already started it was the wrong theater. You better believe I was HOT !!! I’m just happy my adult daughter was there to handle the situation or it might’ve got ugly. Enclosing do not go there just stay at home. Wait for the movie to come out on cable or go to Movie Tavern…. but whatever you do, don’t go there !!!! I know I will never ever go...
