St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church — Local services in Williamsburg

My girlfriend's family and I had an incredible time at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Williamsburg, Virginia, during the Greek Festival. My first time inside, I've always seen the Golden Dome when passing by but now my curiosity has been fulfilled! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic, and the gift shops had a wonderful selection of items. But what really made our experience special was the warm hospitality and friendly vendors. The people here are amazing I went to Spring Greek festival and the people was just so kind to me. And I am not even going to to talk about the food I had to get a to go plate and the people that was in line with me helped me to a table and then when I got ready to go the gentleman that was parking the cars walked with me across the street to make sure I safely got on the bus. I attend the Greek feastavil at the church. It is a new church build on 2013 with a very beautiful architecture and amazing iconography. The parishioners are so friendly and helpful.
