Let's dive into the dessert first. My anticipation was high as I ordered sopaipillas and fried ice cream, staples that I cherished from growing up in the Southwest. Yet, my excitement quickly deflated upon their arrival. The sopaipillas that landed on my table resembled more of a cinnamon-drizzled chip than the pillowy treats I held dear. The letdown continued with the fried ice cream, which was encased in a layer of corn flakes. Despite my specific request for no whipped cream or any sauce except honey, the dessert fell short of expectations. For those who've experienced the true delight of sopaipillas and fried ice cream or even taken a glance at their traditional renditions, this version pales in comparison. It's a pity that these cherished favorites were not accurately recreated, leaving a sense of disappointment where there should have been a burst of nostalgia and joy. The chips and salsa left a positive impression, particularly the salsa's rich and flavorful profile. My daughter's cheese pizza received her seal of approval – she thoroughly enjoyed it and devoured the entire thing. My son's taco, beans, and rice combo garnered praise, with a special nod to the flavorful rice that stood out. My husband's choice, the Border Burrito, earned his approval for its great taste and the enjoyable kick it offered. My own selection, the chimichanga dinner, had a surprising twist. While the menu indicated it would be smothered in nacho sauce, it arrived drenched in a white sauce that rendered it soggy and unappealing. This unexpected turn prompted me, for the first time in years, to request a replacement minus the cheese sauce. Interestingly, the menu's image depicted the sauce on the side, aligning with my expectation. It was a rare hiccup in an otherwise satisfying meal. In summary, the dining experience featured hits and misses – from the delicious chips and salsa to the delightful cheese pizza, tasty tacos, and standout Border Burrito. The chimichanga's unexpected sauce situation, however, was a letdown that stood out amidst an otherwise enjoyable meal. The experience at the restaurant was enhanced by excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Seating: It took a while for us to be attended, and as well as other customers because there was nobody in the front desk. When we were getting seated, the lady offered us whether we wanted to sit inside or outside, we decided outside! The chairs were not metal ones, they were patio chairs so they felt much more comfortable. Food: The food was amazing, delicious and dynamite. It was definitely different from what I’ve tried in the past - ground beef for the Nachos Supreme. It was still good and tasteful. Although the guacamole was a bit pricey, it was lovely that we got to customize it! Great portions of food that we took plates of take out! Great prices in the food. Service: The lady and the rest of the employees were very nice and friendly. They were very helpful in bringing us napkins, to go boxes, additional straws at our request. For the FIRST time, I’ve had someone come to us and prepped the guacamole how we wanted it. That is pretty creative and something lovely I experienced here.

This is rapidly becoming the family's go to TexMex in Williamsburg. We love hitting up the lunch menu. Fast, tasty, filling, great service, TV's showing real football (aka, soccer) with periodic "GOOOOAAAALLL" screaming announcers. Definitely puts you in the mood to have fun and enjoy yourself. Started out with the standard app: chips & salsa. It just warms my heart whenever some place serves white salsa. Or whatever they call it. I know I'm in heaven then. One day I'll figure out what's in it and likely stop. But until then - bliss. I am a sucker for any TexMex with a "Speedy Gonzalez" lunch item. In fact, I don't recall if I've ever NOT seen that lunch option. In this case, it gets you a taco & enchilada that is probably the standard for a Speedy. Unfortunately only one side? Not sure if I hate it, but definitely a cost cutting move. All the items were great. Finally, the servers were FANTASTIC. Well done with a place that has great peeps.

We came her around 5ish PM on a Sunday evening. We got seated and waiting for maybe 10/15 min for someone to wait on us, no one offered a high chair and no one was available to ask for one, for our screaming 2 year old. The restaurant was maybe half full? Someone gave us chips. Then our waitress came and got our drink order— two drinks and a water. Water was forgotten. Okay that’s fine. I then politely ask for a booster seat for our kid trying to climb all over the table. Booster was forgotten. And there was literally no one around for us to ask for one! We ordered our food, got it fast, which was good I guess. The actual food? Terrible. And there was still no one around to ask for anything!! We ordered chicken and rice and pollo Popeye. The chicken and rice was cold. The Pollo Popeye was chicken, bacon and “steamed veggies”. The veggies were tasteless and seasonless. The chicken was topped with what tasted like cheese whiz out of a fan. I took a few bites and couldn’t eat anymore. We didn’t see our waitress until ten ish min into our meal and at that point, with food we weren’t going to eat, and our kid fussing and trying to climb everywhere, we just paid and left. I mean I’m not trying to be an a-hole but it was very frustrating and we left disappointed and still had to stop somewhere to...

We had a terrible experience. I don’t recall the manager’s name but he needs some serious training on how to handle situations! One of the toilet paper dispensers in the bathroom was all cracked with jagged plastic sticking out, which I didn’t notice until it had already cut my arm open. I spent the evening wiping the blood off my arm while I ate. When I asked to speak to the manager he seemed inconvenienced. When I told him what happed all he said was “okay”.... not an apology, didn’t offer a bandaid, nothing! He then walked away and sat down at a table with his family or friends that had brought Chic-fil-a into the restaurant and took up space at a table at a time where restaurants have to limit the amount of guests and available tables. He could have at the very least said sorry but now I may be looking into a lawsuit. Out server was very nice but put in the wrong meal which cost more that what was ordered and we were missing food once our meals were brought. We didn’t bother bringing it up to that joke of a manager and simply paid for our meals and left as soon as possible. I asked for the owners name and number and nobody knew it to give to me. We absolutely will NOT be going back, ever! I now get to spend the rest of our vacation with a...
