Awesome old bridge. Very small for a lift bridge. Funny that the lift feature was only used for the first year the bridge was in place, then the canal was closed for good. Bridge was in service for around 80 years, feeding coal to a plant in town...

Great walking trail. The path is wide and shaded. Since it is mostly flat it’s an easy walk for people with limited mobility. There is also a lot of historical placards to read...

Really well maintained trail with lots of history, great views, and shade while riding the trail. Started in Williamsport MD and did 31 miles South before...

Awesome old bridge. Very small for a lift bridge. Funny that the lift feature was only used for the first year the bridge was in place, then the canal was closed for good. Bridge was in service for around 80 years, feeding coal to a plant in town via railroad.
