Tony’s Pizza — Restaurant in Williamsport

I ordered a Stromboli (it was good) but I asked for some sauce on the side. Was charged $1.50 for that. The Stromboli was priced differently on menu. When bill was received my meal was more expensive than I anticipated. The manager/owner first said I was charged more because I was paying with credit card? (He had no idea how I was paying yet) then fumbled his words and said prices have increased. However the menu did not reflect the new pricing. Nor did the waitress say they would charge for a side of sauce (to dip the Stromboli in). The menu price was a difference of .50-.75¢ (that is not a lot, but not the point) if you have changed pricing then your menus need to reflect that. If not, then you need to train your employees to announce new pricing to the customers when they’re ordering. You should be thankful people are still coming to your business and ordering! Today’s prices are sky rocketing and .50¢ adds up, then add another $1.50 charge for a side of sauce (ridiculous). This review may seem petty to some, but the point is the manager was extremely rude and did not care about menus being outdated with wrong pricing and let’s not add how rude he was to have to stop doing his doordash orders behind the counter to actually ring us up in the first place. EDITED REVIEW 10/21/23 Sadly, I must update my review . It's been since this summer when we were here last. The pizza is still good but not as good as in the past. We almost always order crab pizza. The problem this visit wasn't the food, it was the service and PRICE! Menu says $20 for medium crab pizza but they up charged me $5 without informing me. Also, there was a 2 dollar fee on there for no apparent reason. When spoke with a bearded man (I assume a manager) he claimed there were "signs all over the place" claiming crab went up. Wasn't on the menu, asked him to show me signs and he said "well, there WERE signs". As for the added fee, I was informed it was for credit card use but I hadn't even paid yet! They've lost us a customers permanently!!!! 1st time in. Had years of recommendations but didn't take a chance till yesterday. We ordered the crab pizza! It was excellent!!! The only thing I would do next time I order that is ask the cook for a lighter sprinkle of the OLD BAYS. The salt tend to overpower the other flavors and I'm personally sensitive to salt. It was a little while since I had last visited. Pretty much disappointed to where I probably won't go back. I live closer to smithsburg, and there are pizza and Italian places closer that are better. Unfortunately, the servers seem to be a little overwhelmed as they were just a bit busy. But I had to wait extra long as the server forgot to put in my order. Obviously it all worked out but it would have been nice to not have been forgotten about even after having a whole conversation about the pizza. And the flavor wasn't that great either. I had to pack on all the oregano, garlic seasoning , pepper flakes and more parmesan cheese to help it. And even dip my crust and honey mustard dressing. Also, the price is in the menu do not match what they will charge you. And the menus look worn and it does not seem that they are too concerned nor apologetic to even try to get new menus or even have some notice of price changing. Definitely was hoping for a much better experience but did not receive it. I'm grateful for all the pizza shops and Italian restaurants...
