Third Base — Restaurant in Williamsport

I walked in, sat down, was asked for my ID, have it freely, and given a bottle of water. A few minutes later, I asked if they had the ingredient to make an old fashioned as it’s my favorite drink.

I was told “Yes, but come back another day, you don’t need anything today.”

This was my first time in the bar, going in just wanting to check out new places and experience new things. I can promise you after being refused service simply because I look underage, I will NEVER be back here, and I will never recommend this place to any person that asks about it. Stopped here traveling off of 81 en route from SE PA to Harrisonburg, VA. I have an affinity for neighborhood & corner bars, which are sadly a dying breed in many towns. This place was definitely a local’s hangout - there was a palpable feeling of community amongst the patrons & staff. That being said, as a transient “one and done” visitor, I felt right at home.

Fantastic local hometown kinda bar. The owner, Ed, is THE NICEST dude you ever want to meet, and the rest of the staff was awesome. We had such a blast. Cash only, so be sure to hit an ATM on the way, but the drink prices are beyond reasonable. Yeungling draft or bottle for $2.50 until 7pm, then it goes up 25 cents 🙂. Yes, Please.
