I will NEVER shop at Target again based on my experience at this store location. I picked an item off of the shelf to purchase and added it to my cart. I found an employee, Gil, and asked for assistance as I wanted more info regarding the features of the product before purchasing. Not only was he unable to describe the features but he took the item and put a "spider wrap" on it before he would allow me to take it to the cashier to purchase, which made me feel like he thought I would steal the item. I'm usually the last to say that any situation is "racial related" but this was the first time in my entire life that I felt racially profiled. I felt disgusted and asked why he needed to place a sensor on the item as it was on the shelf without a sensor and there were several remaining on the shelf without a sensor. He couldn't give me a straight answer. I discussed with a manager, but obviously this employee had already told his distorted part of the story to the manager on the walkie talkie. When I spoke with the manager Sheila, she defended the employee and basically told me that she does not have to explain to me their Loss Prevention policy as it is confidential, nor could I insist on how they "should" have sensors on all of those items instead of adding a sensor only in the case a customer inquires about the product features. I can say that one manager, Jamie, did apologize for how I was treated and offered a discount based on my experience, however this was quickly overturned by Sheila who spoke to me and my husband with a disgusting attitude and with such lack of concern. I reported my concern to a corporate Target corporate rep who seemed genuinely concerned, but also explained that this would be investigated by the area manager, and that Target may or may not get back to me. Maybe my expectations for Target customer service were...
Read moreif I could give a 0 star, i would. I’ve been “helped” (if you can even say that) by the same associate twice, that i came to this location. She is SO RUDE. she’s this old lady in the electronics section who is always riding around in a scooter, beeping at everyone in her way. Shes extremely impatient and bitter. her makeup is hideous and she reeks of fish. The first time i went, i asked for an item that wasn’t on shelf, but the app said was in stock, I was asking a different associate and she butted in and yelled at me saying “ WHAT WE HAVE OUT IS WHAT WE HAVE!!”, well damn! could’ve said it nicer and i would've been on my way. The employee i was originally talking to just stared at me shameful of his co worker’s actions. the second time, i asked for an item,(again) Said in stock but wasnt out. i clicked on the help button in electronics and i prayed inside that she wasnt in this day. surprise, surprise. i heard some loud beeping getting closer and closer. i knew it was her, for a second i thought about going to a different associate before she saw me. but i didnt and decided to give a second chance. The second she saw me she yelled from across the isle, “what do you want?” i kindly asked her for the item that wasnt placed outside and she said LOUDLY “which one” REPEATEDLY talking over me. She just kept saying it over and over while rolling her eyes, as i was LITERALLY telling her the name. She dug through her cart basket and said “this one?” , i said yes. And grabbed one, she said “i forgot to stock them earlier”. Okay… maybe lets work on stocking items instead of being so rude to customers. im so over it, i just want to avoid this target overall, shes so rude and makes me feel agitated and emotionally distressed. please do something about her. Maybe a little re-training and...
Read moreI like this target except for the fitting room workers. They are either never around, or disgruntled when opening up a room for you. Today, just sealed the deal. I approached the fitting room area with my daughter in a cart and already the attendant look annoyed as she opened up a room. At this same time, my 3 year old went quiet and suddenly threw up. As I used all the wipes and tissues in my bag to catch/soak it up - I say to the worker that my daughter threw up so that she was aware and could take the proper procedure for sanitizing as I assume target has procedures for this. I wouldn't just want to walk away. The worker abruptly responded saying " I don't have anything." And she continues to fold clothes. My daughter continues to throw up as I'm still trying to catch it from getting on the ground. It's definitely on the cart but not any merchandise. She finally asks if paper towels will help and hands me a few. I'm still cleaning it up , frazzled as she watches and have to ask her for more paper towels. Finally, my daughter stops and I get her out of the cart. No merchandise is damaged and it is only then the worker appears to radio for some clean up help when i tell her I'm leaving the cart and walking away. I didn't expect anyone to clean up my mess but common decency to get me supplies to clean would have been helpful! The blank stare and annoyance sent me over the edge. Hence, this review. This store needs updated customer service and...
