MinuteClinic at CVS — Local services in Wilmington

This review is perhaps long overdue — and to note, is specifically for NP Jeff Keating.

My family and I have visited with Jeff a handful of times, and we have always remarked at how compassionate, kind, and down-to-Earth he is.

Just the other day, I came to the Minute Clinic and was happy to see Jeff was the practitioner. Regarding my particularly distressful and urgent situation, he stretched to the limits of his capabilities to help me. I do believe another practitioner may have sent me to the ER or urgent care unnecessarily to pass the buck. Jeff did not.

A couple days later, he followed up with a phone call — not just a generic check-the-box call, but instead remembering my situation in detail and encouraging me for my upcoming surgery.

I am so grateful to him. And, I am so pleased to hear the chatter that Minute Clinic may be moving in the way of primary care. I would feel more than comfortable putting the primary care of my family in Jeff’s hands.

Scheduled appointments for Covid-19 testing for later that morning. Drove to the designated area and texted the number posted after being directed there by the pharmacist at the drive through and waiting 10 minutes for that information. Waited 10 minutes and no one came out. I went inside and the same pharmacist from the drive through now told me that the testing was separate from him. I showed him the appointment confirmation for my child and he told me there was nothing he could do as the Minute Clinic was separate. I explained that my child had a fever and we needed to get her tested. He said there was nothing he could do and offered zero assistance. I received no call, no text, no email after my confirmation. I went in for an appointment for cold/ flu symptoms and wow was the NP great! I never write reviews of doctors and nurses but Vicky Muller was really wonderful. I just had to find a way to write a review and found it here. I really hope she sees this! She made me feel very comfortable and I could tell that she truly cared about me. I’ve been to other NP’s and never have I walked away feeling like that! She is the best NP I’ve ever been to! There was another woman there too and she was excellent as well. Job well done to both of you! I hope minute clinic sees this because I see other people have given her good reviews. Thanks...
