Where do I begin!!!????! What a wonderful experience I had with Steve and Meg when looking for a caterer! This is customer service at it's finest! We take our summer vacation in Wallace, NC as my daughter, grandson and son-n-law live there. Instead of everyone having to cook after a hard day of work, I thought wouldn't it be fabulous to find a caterer. So the search began, I emailed multiple caterers but the only person who responded was Steve from the first email I knew Diamond was the place to go. When I asked him if they serve the Wallace area, his response was, "yes, we do, they are our neighbors" I loved that response! I explained I was looking for a dinner for 6 people only and was looking for a response of we require.....but no 6 people was not a problem. The menu choices was more than I ever expected and I ended up choosing the bbq pork sliders, herb chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and a divine spinach strawberry salad! When Steve arrived all the food that was hot was carried in insulated bags and he set everything up in the house, there was various sauces for the pork, dressing for the salad, rolls, plastic ware, napkins nothing was overlooked right down to the jug of sweet tea. Steve was pleasant as could be, thoughtful and you could tell he took pride in the business. Meg was a dear herself and through all of the emailing I forgot to give them the address for delivery. Meg called me at home as I had taken off work the day before and thank goodness she did. If you need a fabulous caterer look no further! Thanks again Steve and Meg!! Update: I have used Diamond catering multiple times since the first posting above! Each time they exceed my expectations! I will be ordering soon from them for our upcoming trip! We hired diamond catering for our wedding and could not recommend them enough! From the attention to detail, and suggestions, that Steve provided us at our first meeting, to the end of the wedding day - Steve went above and beyond our expectations of a great caterer!

During the day of our wedding, as my husband and I were taking pictures with the photographer, Steve prepared my husband and I each a plate of hors d'oeuvres that were being served during cocktail hour. It was quite the surprise (and utter hunger relief) to see Steve walking our way with plates, condiments, napkins, and our beverage of choice!!

Throughout the entire reception STEVE made sure our glasses were full, to the point where we did not have to approach the bar even once! He kindly made my husband and I our own dinner plates, with samples of each entree/side we chose.

At the end of the night Steve and his staff packed up the left over food for us, labeling each tray with exactly what was inside.

The taste and quality of the food is right up there with Steve's exceptional service! We had SO MANY compliments on all different dishes!! My personal favorite was the prime rib that could be cut with a spoon!!!

I will gladly recommend Diamond Catering to anyone and everyone who needs! 20/10 recommend Diamond Catering for...

I'm writing to tell you how thrilled we all were with the food and with your staff for our Awards Dinner last night. The guests were raving about the pot roast (how did you get it so tender??/) and all of the other entrees and sides. Many people went back for seconds and one couple admitted to me that they had "thirds!!"

Prior to the dinner, your staff couldn't keep the appetizers on the table. As soon as anything was put down, it was immediately "wolfed" down by the guests (OK, and me!!) I heard people yelling across the room to spouses and friends that they had to get to the appetizer table and try them, because they were so good. Also, thank you for sending the pudding. That was a wonderful, light touch after the meal.

And, as for the ladies--I can't say enough about them. Our bar vendor didn't show up at all. Yep, read that line again. We had no bar. Prior to the event we bought wine and soft drinks, the bar vendor was supposed to supply 2 bartenders, ice, glasses, napkins, all of that stuff. Seeing the pickle we were in, your staff stepped up to the plate and shared some of their ice and some glasses to "save our butts." We will see you next year! Jan Morgan-Swegle, Editor,...
