Wanted to support the #African Caribbean market on Oleander Drive but….
I went get a plate after work. the food does not equate to the price. For two (2) ladle spoons of okra soup… it’s $15. All the food is A la carte, and you don’t know this until you get there that nothing comes with the offerings. I waited to speak with management about the concerns, waited as he helped a customer and I was speaking about my concerns in his hearing but instead of saying he will be right back after assisting a customer; he stood outside and made a phone call and then got in his truck and drove away. Because if management is this dismissive to a person who goes out of their way to support black owned businesses has lost big support. I now questions where the food is prepared and if Food & Safety practices is used. the serving utensils were lying next to each other so that’s an Ooops already. It’s no longer vegetarian for those who think it is…the serving utensils touch each other. I will stay away...

The staff is always friendly and helpful and they have wellness and nutritional products to maintain good holistic health. The Shea butter, black soap, and Irish Sea moss is divine. I love the plantain chips and the incense as well. I can’t leave without a quick browse through the African fashions they sell. It’s always a pleasant experience to patronage this place. They even have...
