Hope Consignment — Local services in Wilmington

I have never had such a RUDE consignment owner in all my years consigning. If you ask her any questions as to why they aren’t taking something she gets annoyed as well as telling me my shoes have toe prints on them. Well as I walked around I found several pairs with worse than somewhat worn. It’s this a used clothing store? My shoes were purchased at a boutique here in Wilmimgton. Then I asked a question about a pair that had zero toe stains ?? She said oh they have glue showing hmm that’s where they are put together. She then told me maybe we better not take your things and handed them to me. They have lost a good Consignor that bring in LV Gucci etc. (I told her ). She then told me yeah and some we gave back. So Rude!!! I was told earlier that day by another lady she was rude to her as well. I would never shop here OR bring items here she basically has no taste in fashion and has an attitude as soon as you walk in! Good luck when another store opens because this store won’t last with...

I do not know how this business remains open. As a consignor, the owner was generally unpleasant from initial phone call throughout the consignment process. It took her over 6 weeks to get my items into inventory, and then when I asked a couple questions about the prices she was applying to my items and where I could find a record of those, she became offended, rude, and marked my account with "Do Not Accept" banning me from consigning again. This woman has some nerve, as her business is based on making money off of other people's items. I guess I have the right to ask questions about my own items I'm consigning with her as a joint partnership! I have never in my life experienced such rudeness in a retail or consignment...

I’ve been to a lot of consignment shops around the world, but I can say that this is one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The lady Beth, who owns the place was fantastic! She helped me pick out a beautiful cocktail dress for my brothers wedding. All the clothes, shoes and handbags are in great condition. Lots of amazing and beautiful clothes at a fantastic price.
