Stepping into Madame Meerkat's Metaphysical Shop is like entering a realm of enchantment. This charming shop, which I've admired from afar on Instagram for years, is a veritable treasure trove for anyone intrigued by the mystical, the magical, and the metaphysical.
The shop's aesthetic is absolutely delightful. Its cute and inviting ambiance exudes an air of tranquility that sets the tone for a unique shopping experience. Each item, whether it's a glittering crystal or an antique book, is displayed with care, making for a truly enchanting browse.
What truly sets Madame Meerkat's apart, however, is its comprehensive range of offerings. The shop does a fantastic job of catering to a variety of spiritual and mystical practices, from Wiccan to Woo Woo to witchcraft. This inclusivity, along with the rich diversity of products, makes it a haven for both newcomers and seasoned practitioners alike.
Despite not being able to attend, I was impressed by the separate space designated for readings. Tucked away in the back of the shop, it promises a more private and intimate experience. I look forward to returning to partake in this service.
Above all, the knowledgeable and helpful staff are what make Madame Meerkat's truly exceptional. Their passion and expertise shine through, making every visitor feel welcome and assisted in their metaphysical journey.
All in all, Madame Meerkat's Metaphysical Shop more than lives up to its online reputation. Whether you are steeped in the metaphysical world or merely curious, this delightful store offers an inviting space to explore, learn, and connect. I can't wait for...
Read morefun store to visit with many fun books, artworks, crystals, etc. but missing a heavy dose of cultural awareness and sensitivity. i was a bit concerned by the white sage and palo santo smudge sticks (both sacred in many indigenous cultures and now endangered due to the commodification of spirituality and being poached from tribal lands for retail) when in the store but was most disturbed by the “metaphysical mystery bag” that my friend and i purchased. it contained MULTIPLE sacred/meaningful items (a dreamcatcher, a statuette of the hindu deity Tara, and an evil eye protection candle and witch’s spell) ALL without relevant educational information which could contextualize the meaning and significance of these sacred materials for the store’s largely white audience. i understand that esoteric shops must often cater to a wide range of consumers who may or may not respect the meaning of the objects inside in order to stay afloat, but the mystery bag really was the final straw. Clearly this store is more interested in peddling meaningful objects as fun “knickknacks” or “curiosities” than creating a community of respectful consumers. i hope that if they see this they, if nothing else, change the metaphysical grab bags to either include better information about the items they hold or else no longer include TEXTBOOK appropriated items that they’re basically a caricature of white consumerist...

I make a stop every single time i head towards Wilmington & i willingly spend an ungodly amount of money every single time haha! everything is priced perfectly, crystals are never to expensive, the most i’ve spent on a crystal was $5-$7 for a medium sized piece of malachite, at my shop close to home, it runs $15-$25. never forgetting the HUGE selection of jewelry, incense, candles, and so much more! i love the workers, the energy in the store is truthfully just unmatched compared to any shop i’ve ever been to! the staff is all just so welcoming, helpful and kind, they always spark up conversations and it literally feels like i’m just talking to a family member the energy is so welcoming, its literally the type of shop i can spend hours in and not even realize it. i even love how all of the employees are all extremely knowledgeable, they’re always willing to help me find a crystal that caters to my needs right off the top of their head! back when i first started getting into crystals and such, the guy at the register was so sweet, he helped to educate me and show me where i can learn more about my practice. i’ve never gotten a nasty attitude or vibe from anyone there! i can’t express how much i love this shop! i most DEFINITELY recommend if you’re in...
