I have been going to this Chick-fil-a for as far back as I remember since I am from Wilmington, however I will not be returning to this store as the last handful of visits have not been worth the money spent. For starters, my girlfriend found a sizable piece of beef jerky in her cobb salad which clearly did not belong and clearly did not come from restaurant food since chicken is the only thing sold at Chick-fil-a. On top of that, there have been multiple orders in the last few months which have been missing items. I order takeout on the app, and even when the store is not as busy, I am still waiting more than five minutes for help. A particular instance that happened recently, the pickup area is next to a register that the employees use to clock out at, and three different employees came to that register to clock out and told me that someone would help me soon instead of taking the 15 seconds it would take to get my order which I can clearly see on the back counter near the drive thru and hand it to me. Sometimes when I am missing an item in the order, it is not even worth the wait trying to catch someone's attention to get what is missing. Finally, the last few times I have eaten at this Chick-fil-a, both my girlfriend and I have felt a little sick. Normally I would dismiss it if it were just me, but having both of us feel sick despite the fact we order the same thing from the same location is concerning. Read moreI had one of the worst experiences using the mobile app at this Chic-fil-a location and I just want everyone to be careful using the app here.
Every time I do the app at this location it is slower than the drive through or the line inside. The other day they messed my order up completely and I drove all the way back to work only to find half my order isn’t right and my coworker’s orders were messed up too. They gave us no condiments or straws. I called and the phone rang for about 5 minutes. Then when I got up with someone they told me they were sorry and to come back to the restaurant to resolve the issue.
I go back to the restaurant and the employees working the counter didn’t know anything about the phone call and tried to tell me I was at the wrong restaurant in a rude way. They also told me that I would be redeemed with a coupon in the mobile app for my loss of time and gas driving back to the restaurant.
Well they gave me the food that was missing but still no straws, no condiments, and no apology face to face. They also did not give me the coupon I was promised on the phone. With a snarky attitude they continued to help the other customers.
I have had great experiences at the other locations but this one clearly needs an attitude adjustment with employees and to pay more attention to their mobile apps. Also where was the manager when this all happened with the rude employees?

Read moreOn Sept. 26, around 5:30 pm I stopped by this CFA to get some food for my daughter and I. We waited in the line for 12 minutes and then when we finally got to the window to pick up our food we were told we had to pull up and wait. 11 minutes later the manager brought out the food and asked me to accept this Free Chicken Biscuit breakfast coupon for waiting. I said sure, sounds good. This AM I take my daughter there before preschool to redeem my coupon (and get something for myself of course) and after another 12 minute wait get up to the window to pay and the manager (wears bowtie) told me that the card I had given him (the one from two days ago) had already been used. Apparently, the other manager gave me a card that had already been used. No biggie right? I assumed this new manager would understand and still honor the coupon but no. I then reiterated how it was literally two days ago, I got it for waiting, etc. etc. He seemed to not care said there was nothing he could do about it.
SO, after roughly 30 minutes of waiting in total, $30 spent in total, I got scammed out of the free chicken biscuit as well. I guess the bowtie manager thought I was a part of an elaborate scam to steal chicken biscuits. Pretty sad.
