THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I'm not able to speak about all the people that work there, just the I believe 3 that were working. First off you expect a certain type of service at a Men's Warehouse. Now this location that day had... let's call them "employees" for lack of better words. When we walked in the location there were only a couple other customers. I saw 1 employee making a customer and then noticed another walk from the back when I came in. Neither of them said one word to us or even looked in our direction. To be honest it may have been better that way. We walked in and looked around for a few minutes and still nothing. By this time, another (I assumed it was an employee from men's warehouse by what he said and the way he acted when he came from outside) employee comes in on his phone and is trying to order lunch and looks at us like we were personally the reason there was racism in the world. Then said nothing to us and continued to order lunch on his phone while asking the other employees what they wanted or " Do you want me to drive somewhere else while I'm out? I'm on the clock anyway" This is going on while the one employee is surprisingly doing something with a customer while the other was walking back and forth from the racks to the back room. (Still another couple of customers that were together standing around and looked like they needed help as well) So they figured out lunch and then the one guy left. The other two continued talking amongst themselves and the one customer getting help. At this point we just left because I didn't see why I should even consider spending my money in a place with employees that simply ignore and disregard customers in such a way. The one employee at the counter, who gave us that ignorant look. You'll get the attention you deserve one day if you keep treating people that way. I will probably go back in and see if I can get their names. Besides all that there is a mall with 4 other department stores with better products and cheaper prices. They sell a polyester kerchief for like 35$ or something. You can get silk ones for about $15 at the mall. Tell me how that makes sense...I have had MUCH BETTER experiences in the past at other Men's Warehouses but even then the overall products are not worth it, the quality is subpar and very overpriced. Get it...
Read moreSmell before you buy. I bought a $100 pair of Lucky jeans at that store 6 days ago (my fourth pair). A couple of days later I noticed a really unpleasant musty smell. After some investigation, I concluded that the smell is likely moth balls. I confess that when I tried the jeans on at the store I did not raise them up to my face and so I never noticed the smell at the time. So I tried to wash the smell out to no avail and tried using vinegar which I read online might work. Nothing worked and in fact things that have come into contact with the jeans will assume the smell as well. My wife smells it too. I tried to return them and was told they couldn't accept the jeans back because I had tried to wash the smell out. Fine, I guess if the store is selling slightly defective merchandise, it's on the customer to notice before they get stuck with a bad item. Moral of the story is don't just trust that you are getting a high quality item at the Men's Warehouse without careful inspection (including smell). It could have been a shipment of items that was treated with moth balls, although that is speculation and the store associate didn't think there was any other cases of smelly clothes, so I'm just out the $100. I left the jeans at the store as a souvenir. Think I'll ever go back?
Update: I sent in a complaint about the smelly jeans to the Men's Warehouse online and they sent me a new pair. There was no arguing or convincing, they just apologized and asked for my address so they could mail me the jeans and said they wanted to restore my faith in the Men's Warehouse. Makes me wonder why the store associate was so adamant in his refusal to accept the return. He even interrupted me as if any argument I would make could not change his mind. Maybe it was just him and not a reflection on the store itself which apparently does stand by their...
Read moreIf you look at my reviews you will see that I almost never post a bad review. I visited this store on 4/26/23. I needed to rent or purchase a tux or suit for my sons prom. It was Wed and the prom was Sat night. No one addressed us when we entered. We waited a few min before I spoke up and asked for help. The person I addressed looked at me and turned and spoke to someone else. He then turned to me with his mouth full of food and said, "wat you need man". I told him That i was there to buy or rent a tux or suit for me son's prom. He asked me when it was and i replied, this Sat. He started laughing and said, "I prolly ain't gonna had nuttin". So i said, "ok, I guess we will go somewhere else. Nice customer service here. I come to get a tux for my son and you laugh at me with food in your mouth?" That's what you want when you go to a professional establishment in need of help. Someone to laugh at you. It was late to get a tux but I find it hard to believe they didn't have anything to help us. Not a shirt, pants, jacket, shoes, nothing. Or should I say, nuttin. Also, the store is a filthy mess. There is still hurricane tape on the windows from years ago. The dressing rooms look like they have never been cleaned. Lots of dirt and dust in the corners and pins everywhere. This place need a through cleaning which includes the employees. On the way out the store, one of the customers came out of the store and told me to go to Cape Fear Formal Wear. I did and they said they were low on inventory because of all the proms going on but they tried and they were able to get me everything I wanted for my son. As a business owner, I understand that good help is hard to find, but in this case, one can see by looking around at the outside and inside of the store that this business is neglected and it shows through the employees and the state of the...
