The Vitamin Shoppe — Local services in Winchester

I came into the vitamin shoppe yesterday to pick up some energy drinks and have some questions about protein answered for me. When I entered I was not greeted and in fact was “mean mugged” by an older lady at the store which come to find out later who’s name is Leila who was sitting on the computer not helping customers. I get my drinks and stand around for a little bit before attempting to ask for assistance which she put me on hold and continued to sit on the computer. Then I was approached by a nice young man whose name was Patrick. Which then I asked my questions to and he was able to help answer my questions better than expected and shopped around with me for a protein. He is the one who gave me her name and I explained to him my frustrations which he was very respectful and helpful with my concerns. After talking with some other people that go to vitamin shoppe in Winchester they all had the same complaint. She is rude, has very low knowledge on the products and concepts, is not helpful at all, and sits around. Visited here 2/19/19 around 4 in the evening. Was expecting a different experience based on the reviews. Saw something online on sale, called to confirm it was in stock. Went there later that day to purchase item. It rang up as a higher price. I questioned the female who seemed to be the only one manning the store about the price difference. At first she said that I saw the wrong price. Then she took off the sale sticker and told me that must have been from last month. As the item was kept on the counter in both of our eyesights. We usually go to GNC, we have been wanting to go here for awhile,my better half has rare form of arthritis, and we are not getting younger,so need the supplements. Loved the store and products ,but was disappointed in customer service, no offered to help us,as we could of used advice.The employees seemed more to them selves and moody then being helpful.
