One of our worst experience ever!!! A typical Sunday day, October 04, 2020. We went to dine in with my family. The Greeter and Server were very polite as they attended us, no problems whatsoever! Afterwards, somehow our server was switch to a different person, a guy, who brought us or appetizer. We noticed he was not wearing his mask correctly, but on his chin, like a decoration; Which is why I am writing this review, since it defeats the whole purpose of the spread of COVID 19!. We politely said, why are you not wearing your mask? We would like to speak your Manager on Duty, and to please take our food back. I was sitting across the kitchen were I can see much of what was happening. I saw that this server threw my plate on the kitchen counter and then left. He looked very upset, I was guessing it was for what we told him. Knowing that this Pandemic (COVID 19) is not a joke and that it should be something of common sense to take the precautions necessary like what the department of health says to do and follow, especially if working on the food industry. ????? The Manager came and we explained the situation and he took the initiative to resolve our matters at the moment. Later another server came and brought our food, very nice person he was, taking all the necessary precautions like it should. After like 20 minutes in, not even, I see the same employee (first guy) with his face mask off, in the kitchen touching his nose. Then on top of that, I also saw a chef and I remember exactly him having a red mask, but he also was wearing it on his chin. He deals with our food (customers foods)! We stood up and approached the Manager once again, regarding everything that we saw that was unnecessarily happening in this TGIF. I remember the first guy who was not wearing the mask, scram at my husband right in front of everyone, for no reason. There was no etiquette whatsoever just that he was very rude and impolite!. Then the Manager also started arguing with my husband. He acted very impulsive and unprofessional to us, when we simply where taking the necessary actions to call to their attention these particular matters of safety precautions; especially if it is concerning the health of others in between.
I hope they truly understand how important it is to take care of others and not be selfish. Regarding the current circumstances, it is already hard enough not to be able to do and go out with your kids and have a fun time without worrying about the what ifās. But how can you follow safety if others do not commit to look out after themselves. Unfortunately this is why we do not go out, because of the health of our son. It is very unfair to him and to all those that have to take an extra step of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn February 24th of last week, I ordered 3 meals to take home for my family. One of the meals was the marinara chicken and shrimp meal with an up-charged side. When I ordered the food, I specifically requested NO marinara on the chicken and shrimp. I get home to find marinara all over my food and I couldnāt eat any of my food. I called the restaurant back after realizing the mistake. They offered a cash refund but I live an hour away from the restaurant so they offered a credit of $30 through email. I gave the manager my email and I thought it was resolved. 24 hours later, the email had never come. I called back and talked to a different manager and explained what was going on. He insisted he would talk to the original manager I had spoke to that night and get it resolved and get the credit sent to me. Another 24 hours later, STILL no email. I checked my junk folder and main folder, nothing. So I called back. Again. I was told by a manager that from their end, they could clearly see the email had never gone through and assured me they would send it and this time I should receive it, finally. I even offered to provide a different email address, they said no and assured me I would receive my credit just fine. 48 hours later, it is February 28th and Iāve still received nothing. Iām frustrated and highly dissatisfied at this point. I feel like the managers at TGI Fridays in Winchester couldāve done more to resolve this issue, instead they continuously gave me the run around. I worked hard for that $30 I spent on TGI Fridays and I expected to get what I paid for. I paid over $70 for all 3 meals and I expected to be able to eat with my family. Stay away from this TGI Fridays, mistakes are understandable, but they wonāt do anything to fix...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Winchester Fridays is much better than the one in Front Royal, who can't even make french fries and onion ring that are edible. In Winchester, hot things are hot, cold things are the correct temperature too. Our server, George, was great. Very helpful and friendly. The manager was even attentive. Taking my complaint about the location of all the handicap parking seriously. The fact that all of the handicap parking is at the opposite end of the building from the front door is insane. You are closer to Chucky Cheese's entrace than TGI Fridays. You have to walk the entire length of the building to get in. They apparently have a side door right by the handicap parking you can use but you would enter the restaurant on the oppisite side from the hostess station. You would then have to seat yourself and hope some staff person notices you, I guess. Why can't handicap patrons in Winchester get to use the front door? The nice manager said they knew it was a problem but had been told they couldn't change the handicap parkings location because it was set by the City of Winchester. I'm not sure if it is true that in Winchester, Va the city sets parking rules on private property. Having handicap parking does fulfil the Americans with Disabilities Act but having it at the oppisite side of the building as the entrance is not in the spirit. Shameful. Why is curbside pickup parking next to the door but not handicap? Having said that we plan to return to the Winchester TGI Friday's because their food is so much better but next time we will avoid trying to use handicap parking. That does need to be...
