The owner of the shop refunded my entire order. I didn't ask for this and they didn't ask me to modify this review. I'm adjusting to 3 stars vs 1 because they did try to make it right, I just wish they would have offered to do that up front. I don't like being critical of small businesses because I understand their challenges. Everyone makes mistakes, and it's how you learn from them that matters long term. I will give them another shot sometime.

I recently ordered about $380 worth of flowers for my two daughters and wife for Valentine's Day. I ordered them almost a week ahead of the date and was assured they would arrive by no later than 5 pm as I had a dinner reservation for 5:30 to take my daughters, wife, and mother in law out for the V-Day. All of which was discussed over the phone with the person taking my order. When the flowers hadn't arrived by noon, I called the shop and it went to voicemail. The voicemail indicated they were busy for the holiday and would return a call promptly. I tried back later several times and finally at 4 pm left a message to see if I could get an ETA on arrival. Long story short the flowers never arrived.

I received a call at 7:30 pm that evening indicating that they were not able to deliver the flowers in time because a driver quit on them. While a situation like this is not ideal, I could understand and empathize. However when they said they would take responsibility and make it right, I asked what they meant by that. Yhey offered to cancel the order or comp my $15 delivery fee for my troubles. I also don't feel like they took responsibility for not communicating ahead of time or answering calls. I would have driven over to pick the flowers up for example had I known.

I ended up having them delivered the next day, but unfortunately I don't think after this I will trust the Lil Flower Shop. The flowers were not pristine either despite the price.My daughter's are young and we're disappointed. Again, understandable that things happen, but the lack of proactive communication or more than just comping me a delivery fee would have gone a long way here and showed an insensitivity I was surprised by given the nature of this business being celebrating...

The Lil Flower Shop in Windsor was so gracious to sponsor the 2024 CSHSRA Rodeo Prom flower fundraiser. They did an amazing job putting together 35 Crousage & Boutineer sets. The designer's listened to exactly what our vision was. The initial consult was easy and pleasant! They did great communicating back and forth with small details. They took on our large order during Prom time & Mothers Day weekend never missing a step!! I felt so lucky to have them do this for us!! I was surprised to be presented with such beautifully handcrafted & great quality peices! Everyone loved them! We sold out! In the past I've used Lil Flower Shop for Fathers day and my husbands birthday. Did you know men like getting flowers too?!?! He loved the arrangement that came in the small ceramic Ford truck. They also do personalized orders! On another occasion I asked them if they could put together an arrangement in an old cowboy boot. Lol! They didn't even bat an eye! It came out beautiful! The final products are always better than I imagined. Lil Flower Shop is a great place with a knowledgeable and creative staff who are geared in top notch customer service. I hate to do this since Lisa was so nice when I picked up but I feel I have too. My flowers for my wedding were horrible!! It was important to me to buy local and I bought a cooler to transport my flowers to the mountains. Initially when i placed the order, I was never dealing with the same person. I was very specific in what I wanted and even sent numerous photos. The email with the photos went unanswered. I called a few days day later and they said they received the email. I picked up the flowers - and it was not what I asked for, I specifically stated "no greens", I was told there would be smaller roses lining the bottom and there was not. I was also told it would be made the morning of so they were fresh and it was not. All the boutonnières roses were too big and turns a brown color. All The wrist corsage band were too tight for all the moms and they couldn't wear it and my bouquet looked like I made it myself.
