Raley's — Local services in Windsor

I used to work for a related company, and normally I'd rate them higher. And in general I've had very good service from them at all locations.

This rating is because of ONE Employee.

The store layout is a little off too. Not bad, just a bit odd. Its like they have too much space for what they can use. For me that is a negative with a potential positive for people with claustrophobic issues.

The detractor experienced was when checking out the total I told her that I had the change then handed her the bills. She ignored that had it mean to change back in bills and a lot of coin. I looked at her and said I told you I had to change and she insisted do not exchange the change for bills when I made up be different. And as I counted the change she gave me, it was wrong anyhow. She gave me every excuse you can think of or not correcting her mistake. She claimed that she could not go back into the register because the transaction was done. She lied. She flat-out lied and would not take responsibility for her mistake, she had a bad attitude, and she was just not friendly, no smile, no greeting, no personality.

This one person is solely responsible for the rating here. Go to a different Raley's and the reading is going to go right back up...

I had recently visited the Raley’s in Windsor for my regular shopping routine, and as I was looking for something on my list I couldn’t find it. I asked the closest employee near me his name was Cliff, as I could see on his name tag. The experience with this employee was the worst I had, had in a long time with costumer service. He was very rude and short with his words he told me that there are multiple signs that point to where everything in the store is. Like he didn’t have to help me or tell me anything because there are signs everywhere in the store. Love this supermarket, but this review is about the Deli. Several years ago it was late and I went out looking for a sub sandwich. Visited a nearby supermarket and found their deli closed. Stopped in at Raley's, their deli was open, and I ordered a Dagwood specialty sandwich. It met all qualifications that Dagwood put between bread for his sandwich in the comic strip 'Blondie.' Visit after visit meant a stop at the Raley's Deli specifically to get a Dagwood Sandwich. Raley's recently renovated and is better than ever.
