If I could give less than one star I would!I have severe spinal pain, hip pain, joint etc. Last night it got so bad I was crying. I had been on Hydrocodone for several years and decided "myself" that I needed to come off it as I couldn't see myself just taking more and more for pain relief. I went to the ER this morning in really severe pain. The Dr, I believe Dr, Fellows. Was just horrid! I was trying to tel him I had weight loss surgery, and should probably break the pills up or take a liquid form. He just wouldn't listen to me and cut me off, and spoke over me. I told him I thought I was a bit dehydrated, that I've been light headed for a few days and ask when they would set up an IV, he said "you're not getting an IV". He treated me as if I was a street person trying to get drugs!!!!!! I don't drink, party or do drugs. I'm a 63 year old woman who took herself off of the Hydrocodone that had been subscribed for me for the exact reason I was there. I could usually handle it but it was a very, very bad day yesterday, I over did and no matter what I did the pain was excruciating. I couldn't stand, sit, move...nothing helped. This Dr has a lot to learn. My father was a physician and would of never treated a patient this was. He's the worst. If you have to go there, and he's the attending physician, run, don't walk and go...

I had not heard anything from them at all as far as a bill so figured it was all taken care of. Next thing I know I get a bill from a collection agency in the amount of $5,600. Little Colorado Medical Center were sending bills to my physical address (which in rural America, you can't receive mail at at physical address). They admitted on the phone that they were receiving returned mail when they would mail me something.
So what's the point of putting a phone number and email address on the intake documents if they aren't going to use it? "Hey, we got returned mail, what's your mailing?" I mean how hard is that to do? I seriously can't believe this is even legal.
For the record, I ALWAYS include a mailing address because I know they don't deliver to my physical. Also, I KNOW I had my medical card because I always do in my wallet.
Little Colorado Medical Center employees are too lazy to do their job. Avoid this center, especially during travel. Go to a...
