My AC started acting up during the last few days of May. It was obvious the unit wasn’t performing up to specs and we were concerned that with the busy AC season we wouldn’t be able to get a quick appointment. Armstrong Air scheduled us promptly with Diandro on May 28th. I was notified via a text that included his picture when he was on his way. Diandro arrived on time, professional, technically proficient and very caring. Within minutes of his arrival he had an idea of what was wrong with my old AC and after completing a multitude of tests, he presented us with several options to handle the problem. From coil replacement all the way to full unit replacement and options in between. The best part of his approach was that we had full decision making autonomy without pressure towards any specific solution! When questions about getting a new unit came up, his manager Pedro emailed me all the documentation needed to make a decision. Armstrong Air is exactly how a reputable company should conduct business. I can’t speak highly enough about Diandro and Pedro; friendly and personally available throughout the entire process. Even post installation. Pedro took the time to answer questions late into the night while I was out of the country on a business trip. They truly took care of it all. I’m so impressed with Diandro that I already requested him to be my tech of choice for any future needs! We decided to upgrade our home AC system to the latest Carrier available. Pedro was able to schedule an install team and a Carrier unit with all my requests within 1 business day. Brand new unit and install team arrived first thing June 3rd. Anthony and Alex were incredible. They took incredibly good care of my home, protected my wood floors and laundry machines on their way to the attic with a very heavy Carrier air handler. They felt like family. They made the installation a non-event for my family. Even my dog felt at ease while they moved around the house. The installation of the air handler in the attic is nothing short of a work of art. The ducts and attachments are picture perfect. However, my true appreciation for them came after observing Anthony and Alex lifting, removing and installing this massive units while navigating pool piping and heater. Not an easy task and they handled it with a smile on their face.

I rarely leave reviews, but the service we received from Armstrong Air (and specifically Pedro, Chad and their incredible team including Gerardo, Mikhail, and Alfredo) was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share our experience. From the moment Chad, our HVAC technician, arrived, we knew we were in good hands. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything he was doing. Our main concerns were ensuring our AC was draining properly and effectively lowering our home's humidity. Chad addressed both issues with precision and expertise, ensuring us the system is now running perfectly. Our home is going to start getting cooler and more comfortable, and the humidity will finally get under control as it dries! He didn't just ensure the work previously done on the unit fixed the problem; he educated us, which we truly appreciate.

But the outstanding service didn't stop there. Pedro, the Service Manager, is an absolute gem. He went above and beyond with personalized, friendly, and on-the-spot problem-solving that truly made a difference. Highly do not recommend this company at all!!! Incompetent staff !!! Worst problem than before!!! Poor customer service!! Rude service manager, owner and staff!!! Going on three months that I’ve been dealing with issues and things not working properly as my electric bill sores higher than it’s ever been. Said I needed a new unit when old unit was only 7 1/2 years old. Never even mentioned “maybe you have a warranty.. you should call the previous company”. Well when they said I have a 10 year warranty on the new unit… I thought… maybe I have one on my old unit…after they ripped out my old unit and found that I did have a 10 year warranty on parts and labor!! Now I Keep getting “DELEYED” on my Nest Thermostat since the new unit was installed because it Never shuts down and “DELAYED” to protect the unit on its own several times a day!! Electric bill higher than it was before and ran continuously for 12 days and they said that was normal to adjust to the new unit?!?! They cannot explain anything was mechanically with my unit!!! Completely scammed!! So much for trusting in a “friend.“ Completely disheartening disappointed and disgusted!!! Consider this your warning!!! Can you imagine what they do to strangers!!

7/29/2025 installed unit without a permit. 10/9/25- county inspection which failed (county notes below) in addition to the float device was not working.

Straight cool with 5kw heat not enough heat for 1200sf. Mark kw on a/h. Patch hole in drywall rear of a/h closet. Air leak on right side of unit. Remove all foam on s/a plenum, needs to be duct board plenum with heat shield. Be sure to remove all foam as this is a fire hazard. So not only could my house burnt down! It could’ve flooded as well.
