I applied to be a vendor at their event but was put on the waitlist for a while. I was texted that I was off a waitlist for a table at the event. I immediately applied again but didn't hear back, so I reached out. I heard back once, but they only asked for my last name. I never heard back after that message. Therefore, I never got a table for this event, which was a considerable inconvenience and pain. I was from out of town, and we had nowhere to lay our books. There were no free tables to even trade at. One of the friends I made at the after-dark event saw a pin they pulled off the boards that she liked. She was heading home to our home state, so I said I would try to get it for her. I went to talk to them at the event, and they said they would likely be willing to trade or sell. So I said I would meet them at their store on Monday, 9/16. I went in to check it out and waited politely to talk to them, and she said she was not willing to trade or sell it. I was like no worries, I understand entirely. Even though I was already frustrated, I had driven an hour to get there. One hour later, they both get on whatnot and start the pin at $1 start. It ends up selling for around $60-65 dollars. I understand they're a business, but that behavior is rude, inconsiderate, and highly immature. I took the time to go to their out-of-state event and store, and this is how they treated a loyal customer. I've bought from them because they make good products, but this whole thing has put me off completely. I don't think I will ever buy from them again. Just be honest and say you want to sell it for x10 higher than value, and don't lie to my face.

TL;DR this business lacks communication, accountability, and is retaliatory. In November 2024, after the co-founder failed to disclose hidden defects in a discounted product - and no in-store signs “spoke” for her either - the business denied my request for a refund, return, or exchange. In February 2025, they finally allowed a refund, but also secretly removed 200 pinpoints from my loyalty account - when the refunded order was worth 34 - leaving me with a negative balance. Three employees blamed their POS system switch from Square to Clover, which happened in March 2025, but multiple Square reps stated that although a merchant may have to manually input loyalty points into a new POS system, ONLY the merchant would’ve deducted my points. And despite follow-ups, the business never returned my pinpoints as promised, which reset under Clover. So now, sharing this experience is more important than spinning my wheels.

Can't say I would recommend this store to pin traders looking to grow their collection. Bought a pack that said it came with 10 "official Disney trader pins", a bag, and trading board for $55 and left with 3 official Disney trading pins and, what assume to be, 7 box lunch pins. Per Disney's rules, those are not trade-able. Totally understand what they are going for but feels like a big scam. In fact, the 3 real pins have a "R" sticker on them...which I am assuming means "real". We love supporting small businesses, so this was a big bummer and we are left wishing we spent the $55 dollars at Disney :/

I was very pleased with my experience at PinHQ. I am a Florida resident, who lives in Tampa and came up to Orlando for a Disney trip with my family, since I just started collecting pins recently I saw a video on YouTube explaining how great PinHQ is, especially for beginners in the pin trading hobby. When my family and I were checking out of our hotel, we headed our way to PinHQ. After we parked our car and headed into PinHQ, I was hoping for all the good reviews I’ve seen and heard to be manifested in my experience. As soon as I opened the door I was bombarded with all the amazing Disney pins. Upon looking at all the pins, there was an employee named Lucas who asked me if there was anything he could help me with including searching for pins I was hunting down. I will note that the service from every employee was fantastic including the amount of joy emitting from them, which was super contagious! After Lucas found a certain pin I was looking for which was a Mowgli and Baloo portrait, he even offered to hold it for me while I was still shopping. After that moment I was in awe of how good my experience was since I stepped into PinHQ! Finally when I was done going through everything I could, which wasn’t even half of the huge variety of pins on top of the time crunch I was having due to me living in Tampa, Lucas helped me checkout. Once we were done with the transaction he gave me a flyer for upcoming events and even an app I can use to bid for pins sold by PinHQ, which was super helpful, especially when you don’t live close! In conclusion my experience with PinHQ was fantastic and left me feeling like I dreamt of what a storefront experience should be like, if there was anything I would say to the owners of PinHQ, it would be a request for a location in Tampa and/or Their Disney pins to be available for purchase on their website. I will definitely be stopping by in the future every...
