TechMate Computer Sales & Service — Local services in Winter Haven

Once time, I had a computer virus, and took it to one "professional" computer store in a shopping center, and the dude charged me to tell me he was unable to fix it (but merely do a system restore, losing all my data & downloaded programs). However, TechMate FIXED the problem, and get this, did it for FREE! Moreover, I've gone back numerous times, and several times they could have charged me to an analysis, but told me that they couldn't do anything: They are VERY smart, VERY honest, and almost never charge me an untenable price. They are probably the best computer shop around, so altho they're in Winterhave, Fla., and I'm in Lakeland, Fla., I go to them. While I know about computers - and have even made my own websites (see attached screenshot), and have, myself, graduated Valedictorian from United Electronics Institute, they are MUCH smarter than me, and so my recommendation is an educated recommendation: They are human, of course, but excellent, honest techs. Just bought a new Laptop to replace my Toshiba because I wanted a smaller laptop to carry around due to back issues; I was unable to get it working due to several issues. I took it in to TechMateFL and Matthew spent an unimaginable about of time and displayed divine patience with me and resolved all of my issues until the problem was completely resolved. Even though I've been a customer there for about 7 years I certainly expected a charge - but there wasn't any! I would never hesitate in referring my friends there for all their Computer, and laptop needs. Don't waist your time with the big box stores when you need Computer services. Oh, and they also offer refurbished PCs and laptops that are in top condition if you''re in a tight position. .

They are honest, friendly, knowledgeable - you'll enter as a customer and leave as a friend.

My PC was having hard drive/performance issues so I brought it to Techmate for a diagnosis. I was prepared to hear, "You need a new computer." Since everything today is built to last only a few years I just figured this was par for the course. Instead I heard, "Let's take a look and see what we can do." I was still expecting the worse. A few hours later I received a call that my computer was all set. Turns out it was a faulty hard drive. My computer is running better now than it did when it was brand new.

If your computer is running slow or having issues, don't hit the panic button like I did. Have these guys take a took at it before going out and buying a new computer. If it is time to buy a new computer check out their inventory of Laptops and Desktops.
