I hope this gets seen by the appropriate persons. I was in there 7/2/25 and store manager AJ is by far the worst manger I have EVERRRR dealt with. I was placing a large order with the large order department and was instructed to go to the store and pay for the items. Which I did. When I got in AJ was rude from the get go. Asking me questions like how I am I going to do this it doesn’t have the appreciate information. I am like I don’t know I was just sent the quote and was instructed to come pay for the items so I can get them. Yeaaa it was on in his eyes. Idk if he is on some power trip or what. I gave him the lady’s name who I was dealing with and he yells out I don’t know who she is and starts rambling on so I called her. Ok she is on the phone and speaking with him now. When I tell you nasty he was speaking to her like she was a child. She was politely telling him I can walk you through it if you like. He cuts her off mid speech I can do it I know how to do it. So I am baffled like (in my head) dude if you know how to do it why I am going through this. Anyway to not keep this too long it ends with me asking him if I can use my reward points seeing that I have approximately 300 on my account to use. He then starts on his power trip again saying only on the bottom here it states you can’t EARN rewards from large quantity orders. To which I respond ok that’s cool I don’t mind. But can I PAY using my rewards that I have already accumulated. He then tells me oh you need to talk with the lady you were dealing with to see if it’s possible. Now my thing you professing oh you have been here so many years xyz and you know what you doing but you now don’t know if I can use the rewards for payment. I say ok you know what let me just pay with my card and leave it at that cuz this man gotta be on something. Staples please check your manager. Read moreThis store would have potential if the managers did their jobs correctly, I came to this store yesterday (07/21/25) around 6:30 maybe 7 to do a Amazon return and was waiting to be helped by this young lady, amazing job by the way she greeted me and apologized for the wait, unfortunately I didn’t get her name but if you can check the scheduling you can see who I’m talking about. Anyway the point of the review is the fact that the poor young lady was carrying the store while the seemed to be manager was out there dilly dallying looking for tape for whatever reason? While watching her take all the customers. It’s unfortunate that it being 2025 and we still have people not doing their jobs. As a former manager it’s our responsibility to help out our staff when they clearly need help no matter what it is you are currently doing! Fix it staples.
