A Five-Star Experience Thanks to Liz! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough wonderful things about my first-ever visit to CubeSmart, and it's all because of an incredible employee named Liz. From the moment I walked in, Liz was exceptionally friendly and professional, immediately making me feel welcome and at ease. As a first-time visitor, I was a little overwhelmed, but Liz's customer service was truly amazing. She patiently walked me through all the options, showing me different size storage units as well as offering incredibly valuable advice on unit sizes and features that perfectly matched my needs. She didn't just point me to an empty room; she helped me strategize my storage. What really stood out was how proactive she was. Liz made sure to clearly remind me of the current promotions CubeSmart was offering, which would end up saving me money! She genuinely seemed focused on getting me the best deal and the right space. Thanks to Liz, what could have been a confusing or stressful errand turned into a completely positive and easy experience. She's a true asset to CubeSmart, and I highly recommend asking for her help!

I'm not sure if the way that I've been treated has been racially motivated or if Jovan and his store manager are just taking advantage of the fact that I'm 2,500 miles away and can't properly advocate for myself, but in any case, these two men are complete menaces and they're doing unethical business. I rented a 10'x8' unit in August 2023 and I planned to store my things for 3-5 months while I move cross country and get settled. I knew my monthly payments would be late simply due to my pay schedule. If I choose to pay late fees, that is my perogative. Whenever my payment is late, Jovan calls and basically harasses me. I mean he has called upwards of 10 times in one week. To make matters worse, he speaks to me with such hostility and dismissiveness. One time he told me that he's "not going back and forth" with me when I was asking clarifying questions. Another time he told me that he wouldn't answer my calls anymore and he hung up on me. I had to call the store 50 times on a Saturday morning to get an answer. Another time he told me that his manager did not want to speak to me and he stated that when his manger found of that it me was me on the phone, he left the store. I asked for his District or General Manager's contact information and he flat out refused to give it to me. Today I received a text saying that my payment was past due. My payment was due on November 28th; today is December 6th. I planned to pay my bill on Friday December 8th. A few hours later, I received a receipt. He or his store manager ran my card without my permission (I am not enrolled in auto pay - I'm positive.) This promoted me to call my bank and cancel my card. The funds that they tampered with was my rent that was pending debit. I would rather owe a late fee on a storage than a late fee on my rent - the latter is the case now. Read moreAll was good the online process was seamless . My issue was when I went to move my items into my unit. I was met in the hallway by whom I assume was the manager who came across very smug and rude by telling me that the person who’s unit I was moving from one unit to the next was being trespassed . When I asked why the only thing she told me was that he was yelling at her . I asked why was he yelling at her what provoked this so called yelling. She elaborated that he was living out of his unit. Which I find kind of hard to believe seeings how the unit was under Lien for two months as the rent had become delinquent and had just been caught up only three days prior to this exchange by the unit renter. So my wonder is how was this person living out of their unit. What this person was doing was cleaning the unit up to place item of theirs for sale and had stepped out to get a cold beverage down the street at Wawa. While leaving a few things in the hallway. Which to my knowledge is not that great and infraction . Granted this person could have been a little more orderly with what was placed in the hallway but to trespass some one by calling in law enforcement in my opinion is over reaching and the abuse of her power was antagonistic to someone who has a unit in this facility on and off for over four years as well as myself.
