I had a few laser genesis treatments, IPL, filler underneath my eyes, and little Botox. All was good until Cassie came into the picture. She’s new there and has no idea what she’s doing. She ruined the skin under my eyes. While she was doing my filler, she left the needle stuck underneath my eyes while doing something else. Needle stuck underneath my eye. You know how you’re supposed to feel that weird creaking during fillers? That didn’t happen. I left there with severe under eye bags that have never fully gone away. I went back in for them to look at it and was told that I’m just not a candidate for filler (had it before at Primera and looked amazing) then was told that I need to wait a month for the swelling to go down and it will look great. Come on now. I said no this isn’t right and I won’t wait a month or a week to let it settle. They removed the filler removed for no charge. Too bad they didn’t offer to make up for the cost of the initial filler. Cassie removed a little bit but my eyes still look terrible and the Botox I paid for a couple weeks beforehand was completely shot.
I give people second chances. I spoke to Renee on the phone and asked for a different person to continue my skincare, but nobody else was available for a month. She asked if I would come back if she trained Cassie. I agreed. I wanted another laser treatment and to empty a little filler I had on stock. But moments before my appointment I backed out and didn’t show up. I just couldn’t do it. It was a last minute change of heart. I can’t trust a practitioner that lies to me. I certainly don’t want to be a Guinea pig. They charged me $50 for a no show which was expected.
A laser genesis treatment with Cassie and I’m done with this place. It was extremely painful. Some kind of electrical spark took place during the treatment. Renee said that’s normal if there’s any trace of mineral makeup on your skin. I rarely wear makeup in general and I don’t wear mineral makeup. Cassie didn’t know what the hell she was doing. And told me that it hurt because she turned up the intensity. Again, come on now. Laser genesis treatments should never hurt. I wasted a good $1,200 at Orlando Skin Solutions.
Cassie has no experience doing any cosmetic procedures and Orlando Skin Solutions shouldn’t have hired her knowing this. I’m sticking to professionals from now on. I would show photos but it’s too embarrassing. The absolute best place is Primera Plastic surgery. A little more expensive, but worth it. That’s what I’ve learned from...
Read moreLet me first state that initially I had Brandy, and she was completely wonderful, no complaints, but she’s no longer there.
I made an appointment earlier in the year, but gladly canceled when I found out I was pregnant. I struggle getting and remaining pregnant so this was a huge deal. I unfortunately lost her shortly after hearing her heartbeat.
I bring this up because I understand why my injectionist, who I’ve never met, started with, “So you had your baby?”
Being close to my due date, I started shutting down immediately and informed her that I lost the pregnancy.
I get that people don’t know what to say, and I’m sure she had no idea what harm she was causing, but harm was caused nonetheless. She then proceeded to ask how far along I was. My damn soul started leaving my body and I struggled in the moment not to say something SHE might construe as offensive being that there were needles going into my face. Though I would have preferred to say that’s grossly inappropriate to ask or that’s absolutely none of your business, I said, "far enough long that I had to deliver her."
Losing a child is traumatic and this is the definition of retraumatizing. I’m grieving my baby. She had a heartbeat and a name. I buried her. She is not fodder for small talk with strangers.
Then add insult to injury when she brings up my sunspots, trying to sell a product. I barely hear or understand her at this point because I’m disassociating. And I tell her that I think she’s talking about more than just my freckles, but I don’t mind them. She was irritated when she responded that she wasn’t talking about my freckles.
At check out, they tried to sell whatever product again even though I said I wasn’t interested in the room. The receptionist was sweet, although I couldn’t fully understand her or remember what I was saying in a daze, just trying to get through. I tried to respectfully leave to get my husband, who was having a meeting in the car, to finish the transaction. I remember being somewhat hysterical by the time I got to the car and asked him to go inside, mid-meeting.
There is nothing that can be done to repair and there’s no way I can return. All I hope is that they educate themselves and prevent this happening to another...
Read moreCustomer service is 5 stars Transparency of the bill is 4 stars (I wasn't aware of the consultation fee until afterwards when I was about to leave) but fees for service are upfront. Office setting is 5 stars. You truly feel immersed and relaxed when you step into the office. The staff seemed competent and answered my questions.....
Now, why did I give them a 1 star review?
The service I paid for was correction of spider veins and varicose veins with the use of sclerotherapy via injection (they used a foaming method with the medication). Not the laser. Nine months after treatment, my legs are still bruised from the injection sites. I have skin discoloration in those areas as well. Where the veins didn't hurt before, now they do. The areas of injection are slightly raised compared to the surrounding area. And to top it off, I developed NEW spider veins in the same exact area treated about a week after treatment. To make matters worse, the injection didn't remove the original spider veins. So all in all, I paid money to make my legs look and feel worse! I already had self esteem issues with my varicose veins and I chose this spa due to its reviews but now I see I should have went to a professional vein center.
I have had sclerotherapy in the past and my spider veins went away after one treatment. They weren't any worse than the ones I recently tried to correct. Yes, my legs bruised for a week and then after that, my legs were fine. I've been hiding my legs behind jeans and leggings all to hide the ugly scars left after that last failure of a treatment. I followed the instructions and used the compression hose and stayed away from certain medications. So I was definitely compliant. On the varicose vein, the area developed a hard bruised spot, that I was later told was thrombophlebitis, a complication due to trauma to the vein....yet I never did anything to my legs following treatment that would result in that.
So overall, for this service I provide a 1 star. If you care about your legs and have varicose veins, look elsewhere. I have uploaded pictures on to google to show the...
