Wild Fork — Local services in Winter Park

So we came here last minute before they closed because we couldn’t find a whole brisket (including point) anywhere because apparently Floridians prefer brisket flats. Not only does this place carry whole brisket, but they carry 3 or 4 different kinds! We were shocked at the selection of meats this place has, truly better than any other place we’ve been. The only thing they’re missing is aged meats, which we can do ourselves. They have a large selection of A5 wagyu beef imported from the Miyazaki province of Japan too! We ended up getting way more stuff than we came for, but we’re excited about what they have. Not only do they have more, but their price per pound on everything that we found is less than comparable items found at Publix, some items quite significantly less. Also, the well bearded young fella that helped us out, walked with us through the store and offered super helpful suggestions and explanations on everything we were interested in. To whom it may concern, I would like to thank “Mickey” at the Winter Park, Florida store. He went above and beyond. My wife did an online order and one item was missing. We thought our orders come from the Winter park store. He told us that our orders come from The Dr Phillips store. He decided to help us anyways. So we tried to go through customer service and they refused to bring us another cheese cake. They wanted to refund our money. We didn’t want our money back we wanted what we ordered. There was a lot of background noise and couldn’t understand what they were saying on both calls. This whole ordeal took almost 45 min. Two customer service calls and two calls to the stores. Than we got “Mickey” at the Winter Park, Florida store. Mickey restored our faith not only with your company but with customer service all together. I have to be honest, I did I did not go into WildFork for a long time, thinking it would be a very, very expensive place with food completely out of my price range. I was so wrong! As a single person, it’s not always easy to find smaller portions in the stores. Not only do they have smaller portions, but they are fantastic restaurant quality. Absolutely everything I bought there has been top-of-the-line. I’ve tried their meat, their seafood, their pizzas, the crabcakes, the nominal, And their beignets are a must on any dessert tray!! Let’s add some incredibly good news that …. They deliver for free if you spent $35.!! I now order ahead for the week, knowing that I will never have to scramble to try and get a meal together in the middle of the week.
