I am from Winter Park and have been going to this store since I was a little kid. I went in with my wife and her cousin, who are black, and her cousin was visiting from out of town. The owner was clearly on edge as soon as we came into the store. Her cousin was perusing the section of key chains and thought he saw one he liked but he changed his mind and put it back. We continued to walk around with the eyes of the owner just focusing on us. For a shop that wants to sell things, their presence is the opposite. As we were leaving I noticed the cashier counting the same key chains and looking at us. What an absolute joke. I was incredibly offended and I know my wife and her cousin were as well. No one should be treated like a criminal because of the color of their skin! Is this the message they were trying to convey, because if so we got it! Don't worry because we will never be going back and will be passing this along to anyone we talk to. I love to support local stores, but I am incredibly disappointed by the blatant racism that runs so rampant....

Neat stuff in the store, but I will NEVER return. You lost a customer for life over $10...really smart business practice.

He got a little nicer when we paid, but definitely had a weird demeanor as if he either hated his life, or hated everyone who walked through the door. Very hard to understand why someone would torture themselves like that if they aren't a people person.
A lot of nice things there, however the other trading shop has the exact same things/more and they're actually...
