The nail tech was very personable. I enjoyed speaking with her. However, I was not pleased with my French manicure nor the French polish Job on my toenails. I had to keep asking her to thin out the white tip on my finger nails and toe nails, despite showing a picture when I first entered. In the picture, the French tip was very thin. She kept telling me she couldn’t go thinner because it wouldn’t look good. I’ve seen it thin, many times. If you cannot do it yourself, say that, and let someone who can do it help me. I also kept asking her to clean up the tips, especially on my toes. They were awfully thick and weren’t even straight!! I got gel polish on my fingernails. I had to clean up around my cuticles when I got home, despite asking the nail tech to do so. She kept telling me if I just pick at it, it would come off. The polish also began chipping two days later. She had to re-do my big toe nail due to smudging. She checked it again before I left and claimed it was fine. I checked when I got into my car and it was smudged. The polish had already dried before I left the salon. I never bothered to go back inside because I was on the verge of tears. After 4 days, the French tip on one of my toes was completely gone. My nail did not break; yet, the white line was gone. HOW?! I am not looking for a refund, partial reimbursement or anything of the sort. I just wanted to advise how disappointed I was. This was my first and very last...

I truly have no words for how incredible this salon and its owners have been, I have been going for six years and they are the only people I will let touch my nails. The salon is clean, the service is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, and most importantly everyone working there is so incredible kind and talented. It’s a special thing when a place is so great, they have been with me through my marriage, two pregnancies, and many more amazing memories (and made my nails look incredible for all of them! 🥹) I rarely write google reviews so this just speaks to how impressed I have continually been with their service.

I’ve gone here twice now. I’ve had a regular shop I went to. Lately they act like I was a bother and so I found L’amour. The owner was friendly each time. Smiled and welcomed me. The reason I’m leaving a review is the second visit was better than the first. Shontell (sorry if it’s not spelled correctly) was an absolute treasure. Repaired a nail I didn’t want t to lose, was quick and my nails came out perfect!! I’ll be going to this shop in Winter Park going forward.
