Stayed at Beaver Village condo complex just this past week with a ski and board club. Showed up super excited to ski and have fun in Winter Park. The entire time in the complex, however, we felt extremely targeted by the staff. On the first night, our room received three noise complaints from security. We had five people over (with six originally staying in the room) and were playing music and games. The first time security came, we lowered our volume considerably and continued to chat in the living room area. The second time, security told us that everyone not residing there had to leave. Two guys came back to get their jackets, and security came up a third time, telling us if we didn't quiet down they would call the police. We were sitting in our living room chatting. We believe they saw the guys come back in to get their coats, and so they came up to harass us again. They continued to sit in a truck outside of our condo for another 45 minutes, making all of us girls feel very unsafe. ||||The receptionist also would not allow us to have beverages of any sort by the pool (even water; I could not bring in my Pedialyte that I needed as I was experiencing altitude sickness and dehydration) because they suspected it to be alcohol. The pool rules did say no alcohol, but it did not say anything about water or other drinks. We believe, once again, that the staff was targeting us. ||||Some kids from Texas also were staying at the complex, and were having similar issues with the staff. Over 15 of our rooms alone were visited by security for many times unwarranted noise complaints.||||Lastly, upon leaving, our room was charged $250 for noise complaints and "pot smoking". Not one of us had weed in the room during the entire week. We were also never made aware that we could be fined for noise complaints; the rules sheet said we could be removed upon the preference of the staff after one warning, but a fine was never mentioned.||||If I would give Beaver Village a 0/5, I would. We were unnecessarily harassed and targeted by security and staff, considerably detrimenting our stay. We were treated as if we were "lower tier guests", as if we did not pay a ton of money to stay there. Extremely...

Read moreWe stayed in Beaver Village Unit 834 (building 8, unit 34). Avoid this one at all costs. At first glance you will notice the 70’s feel of the unit. I’m pretty sure that nothing has been updated since then including the TV’s and alarm clocks. The ONLY updated appliance was the microwave. All the sink faucets were so hard to turn on my children couldn’t do it themselves. The showers blasted your skin off with scalding hot water for 5 minutes and then ran out of hot water. The dishes have been used in several street fights. The pans are dented so you have to chose whether you want the dome shape or the crater shape when cooking your food. BUT you have to make sure you are using one of the two functioning burners. The other two (total of four) don’t work at all. The toaster is amazing as long as you are making a bagel, regular size bread doesn’t fit so you can only toast 1 side at a time. The dining room table is also so broken I am afraid it will fall on my children. It also has screws sticking up into the top of the table from underneath where they have tried to patch it together. If a vampire comes into to condo we only need to push him onto the table for him to get stabbed through the heart with a stake. The master bedroom has a fire place that allows the breeze from outside to come into the room and keep the air fresh. We had to block it with blankets and pillows to keep the snow out of the room. ||||Seriously , this place is just an investment for someone who has never even set foot in the place and refuses to put any money into it. Never stayed at a worse location. Don’t stay here. If you do, bring an air mattress and your own pillows and blankets because the beds are uncomfortable and the...
