Winter Park Golf Course — Local services in Winter Park

Me:12 handicap; play 2x/week Sense of “place” within the community: 9/10. Haven’t felt like this playing a round since North Berwick or when Streamsong first opened. Condition: 7/10. Greens were firm and true. However, tee boxes were struggling. Fairways were good for a mid-January loop. What can I expect for $24?!?! Staff: 9/10. Friendly and fast. Pro shop was quality; not sure what I was expecting, but pleasantly arranged with useful and “souvenir “ gear. Couse structure: 10/10 walkable; a fair amount of strategy for such a small course. It’s tight, but not restrictive. Used most of my clubs; not a pitch n putt. I was able to get the driver out a few times. Greens were fair but required some thought in your approach or some detailed surveying once you land if not. What golf should be. Will...

I have had the chance to play this course twice on business trips to the area. I absolutely love the course, it is short but quite fun. I am from east TN, so any time I can walk a flat golf course I get really excited. This is a great little course to walk. The greens are fast and undulating, making for some challenging putts. The fairways are generous, however, the set up places value on shot placement, especially on the 2 par 5's. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and the guys I have had the pleasure of playing with are wonderful as well. I will definitely make plans to play here every time I am in the area. Awesome 9 hole course in a super nice area of Winter Park. While the fairways are pretty wide open, it’s still a tight course due to the somewhat busy roads not far off the fairway.

The greens are SUPER challenging. Fast with a good amount of break. Tee boxes and fairways were in great condition as well. Overall an awesome experience and a must play.
