Burger King — Restaurant in Wixom

Busy rush hour this was expexted. Only issue is I asked for both fries AND impossible burger to be cooked to order which was listed as well done on the ordering screen. I waited about 10 minutes, figuring it would take longer because of the freshness requested. Not a problem totally willing to wait. When i got my food the fries were perfectly cooked and hot off the presses. The Mean on the Impossible burger was actually cldder than the pickles and lettace. Everything was fresh, bun, pickles, onions Bacon (yes I like bacon on my impossible burger) but the meat was not even room temperature. This was very disappointing for about 5 reasons; (none of which are the window service agents fault) since I had requested, "really hot food" and I said the words, "may I please have the fries and burgers very hot and I don't mind waiting", I my best Disney proncess voice. Seems to me a quick quality check with the chef would clear up any questions on whether or not the burger was cooked very hot/well as requested. And This is only the kind of big deal Im sharing in this post because BK's whole Schick is "HAVE IT YOUR WAY!". Amazon gives a smile and BK lets you order YOUR food the WAY YOU LIKE IT, right? Well This time BK dropped the ball because I specifically requested what I wanted "MY food. Now one might be saying, "oh but its just fast food! 'And this notion is duely noted. fresh food fast is the goal, but cold food fast after asking for really hot food is underwhelming and is what promotes this not so favorable review. I believe all people and institutions are due some grace, I and I will extend some grace and try this location again for the same order another day soon. Great remodeled location but not so great service.

This location was recently remodeled. This location should be super busy knowing that the McDonald's was torn down. It wasn't that busy, but the service was super slow. There was a more than 15 minute wait for food.

I ordered the Whopper with cheese meal with fries and a soft drink. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and efficient.

There were 2 people working in the grill area and were overwhelmed. Burger King is disadvantaged because the fries are made in the grill area. There were several orders waiting on fries. The manager could've helped with fries, but I think he was also overwhelmed with running orders to parked cars.

The food tasted great as it was hot and fresh.

The lobby was clean and tidy. The drink tower area was clean and organized. My drink tastes good and there were several options.

This location needs some training and take advantage of McDonald's not being in business next door. Their lack of service hurts them. McDonald's used to be wrapped around the restaurant. Burger King is missing out on increased sales. Hire more people as well as train current employees on efficiency.

I will skip this location for the time being. With Culver's and Wendy's in the area, I will go...

Your food is not safe in this place.

First, the management sucks. They keep the location open while being under staffed. I swear, one time I made a big order, and one of the members broke down crying. They were understaffed and stocks were running low. They even had to close early. Literally hated myself for putting them through that. I apologized for the trouble and kept decent boundaries as to not burden them.

I gave it some time, come back later when things settled down. And that time was something else. Different people, but thank God I checked my order because the sandwich was missing. I went back inside and the guy that served me gave me an attitude and tried to call me out on his mistake.

Last time (and it will be the last time), I was given a warm Dr. Pepper. And I don't mean room temp. It was warm to the touch. I didn't drink it, but was dumb enough to eat the sandwich. I literally threw up that same night.

Honestly, I hope someone calls the better business bureau. Whoever is hiring these people should not be in a leadership position. As for the people working here, getting upset does me no good. But I really think others should know what to expect as well.
