Avoid this store at all costs. Carlos was the manager on duty who provided us with poor customer service and gave us the complete run arounds when it came to an exchange of a shoe purchased on 8/12/22. The date of this review is 8/20/22. I visited the store to exchange a shoe that was defective, the manager Carlos hesitated to help out stating worn items cannot be exchanged, but how would you know if a shoe is defective if you did not wear it? This is poor management and company practices and most definitely poor customer service for not dealing with a issue with a shoe purchased 8 days ago. The manager Carlos was praising himself during conversation as he offered me to return the shoe for less money as he stated “he was helping me out”. I did not understand how he was helping me out as I did have a receipt and he wanted to help out by giving me less money for returning defective shoes. At many points I simply stated that I wanted a even exchange for the same product, but that seemed to be near to impossible, but it is very possible to “help me out “ by offering me less money on a return. Champs sports needs to retrain their managers immediately and review simple matters like this. . Just a side note, the Foot Locker approximately 100 feet away from the store was more than willing to help me out with my issue, the foot locker manager took it to another level when he apologized for Champs and Carlos’s poor customer service.
