Associate literally refused to acknowledge and fix her mistakes. She also had an extremely nasty attitude like the choice to eat there wasn’t mine.
I walked in and waited in line for a some time. I noticed a guy in line left before receiving any food after speaking to an associate. He seemed annoyed. I also noticed 3 pieces of torn and ripped bread sitting to the side. I thought it was trash.
When I finally got to the front of the line, I noticed the lady in front of me was a bit annoyed because her sandwich was being thrown together. The store associate took no care in preparing the food. The customer finally spoke up and asked the associate could the olives that she did not ask for be removed from the sandwich. The associate hurriedly swiped some of the olives away. The customer tried telling the associate the amount of mustard she wanted but was not successful because the associate had such a terrible attitude and rushed the sandwich.
Afterwards, it was my turn. The associate asked what bread did I want. Remember that bread that I thought was trash which I mentioned earlier in this review? Well, that is the ripped apart bread the associate gave me. I proceeded with the order, thinking maybe it’s no big deal. I ordered a turkey titan as it was on the menu. I didn’t see the associate put the cheese on before heating the sandwich. When it came out the oven, I noticed there was literally a big glob of barely melted cheese and it was all in the middle of the sandwich and no cheese on other parts of the sandwich. The ripped and thin ends on the bread were burned because the bread wasn’t cut clean to ensure proper heating. I politely explained the issue to the associate and asked to remake the sandwich before proceeding with veggies. The associate aggressively said that is the way the oven put the cheese. I said no, you place the cheese, the oven heats it but the glob in the middle is simply from poor placement which is why no cheese is on the rest of the sandwich. The associate, with the nastiest attitude said, what you want more cheese? I said no, I want it distributed correctly. That’s all. I feel like the associate tried to initiate an argument by going back and forth and rudely stating that the oven put the cheese and that’s the way it cooks and there’s nothing she can do about that. I refused to engage with her in an argument over a sandwich. I simply let her know I literally worked at subway in the past and I guarantee there’s nowhere that trained her to do that and that she can cancel the order. In the time I was there, they lost multiple orders and cost the company money on food that had to be trashed simply because of unprofessional employees who displayed the lowest standard of customer service and absolutely no regard for the customer. Around 18 dollars for a sandwich meal that is prepared in this manner is unacceptable! It truly deserves 0 Stars. 6/30/24...
Read moreIt was so bad I wanted to give them a zero. But that’s not possible so I give them a one. I’m a mall associate and almost every single time I go I immediately regret it after. A few weeks ago I walked in to subway, myself in line and a family sitting at a table where the only costumers there. When I approached the sandwich bar to be assisted the associate was very distracted due to a phone call on her PERSONAL cell phone. Causing me to constantly repeat myself at her request but each time the associate gave me more and more attitude. She was not only on the phone completely distracted but she was also rushing me even though there was no one behind me in line, the phone call must’ve been important. And now today, as another associate was once again rushing to make my sandwich with no one behind me, as she was still making my sandwich another associate was at the register trying to ring me up, mind you my sandwich was still being made so I didn’t realize the cashier was speaking to me and they had a very light voice. So when I wasn’t responsive to the cashier they decided to whistle at me to grab my attention. I work retail at the mall and I know what it’s like to be whistled at by entitled and rude COSTUMERS, but to now be the costumer being whistled at by the associate, I was so annoyed. These associates were all people who look to be around my age (teens - 20s range) so there really was no excuse for the immature behavior, whether teens or not. I thought maybe I was the only one getting awful service, but after looking at the reviews and seeing repetitive behavior from associates, the woodburn outlet subways associates and managers should just be simply replaced by people more suitable...
Read moreWe were waited on by an employee whose name begins with Z and was wearing a “Manager” badge. Other than two other customers that had already been waited on we were the only customers in the store. When I asked about a kids meal for my grandson the employee put his hands up and said “This is how we’re going to do this. First you are going to tell me what kind of bread for each sandwich. I have a lot going on and every body came in at the same time” I turned to see 3 more customers had entered the building. With that we decided to leave. We ended up coming back as another restaurant was closed and choices were limited. When we returned there were two other customers other than us. This employee again was very short with me and repeatedly asked questions about my order that I had already answered. We sat down to eat our meal as he waited on a couple other customers. At that point a group of three people opened the door to come into the restaurant. This deranged employee began yelling at them. “No, no! Leave, I can’t handle it! I have too much going on, leave!” Then another group tried to come in and he did the same thing. This employee was unhinged and his behavior was volatile. In the meantime he was slamming the oven door and throwing dishes. The restaurant appeared to be filthy. I have a call in with the district manager but have yet to hear from them. Our visit was 6/12/24 at...
