Worst Buy Ever! This place has the worst unknowledgeable unhelpful people ever ! I’ve been done wrong so many times but the Best Buy in Woodland Ca. That I am shredding my Best Buy Credit Card to remind me never again! I’ve had a phone sales employee create a totally new premium A&t account on top of my existing account instead of just adding a line to my existing account. When asked to correct their mistake they recognized their mistake but told me I had to go to a AT&T store to have it corrected because they couldn’t repair their mistakes, they only can sell plans not change them once they mess them up. Then I purchased a screen protector plan for a different phone and when I went into the store to replace my cracked screen protector they said they longer sell that warrantied screen protector but I could purchase a new one with a warranty and then they could honor that one . Why would I do that when that was the reason I bought the first one. Today toped the whole thing ,I was looking for an oven and went through a whole car-like-sales pitch on one of the models they had advertised as a , Greatest ever $800 off pre Memorial Day sale . This Best Buy sales guy hooked me into a thirty minute blah, blah, blah sales pitch on this stove/oven me even did a mock sale so I would know the exact price after tax and delivery. When I was about to purchase it he regretted to inform me that that model was out of stock and was showing that it wasn’t even available for back order . Why do they have this even on the floor with this special savings red deal tag on it if can’t even purchase it ! I even offered to purchase the floor model if that was the case and was told that because of a computer stocking thing they couldn’t sell me it because then they wouldn’t have one on the floor to sell. Who cares if you can’t buy it anyway. The final call on their b.s. sales tactics was when I saw saw the model and brand that I asked to see earlier on the aisle end when the sales person told me that they were a small store and didn’t have room to show that model line when it actually was that he didn’t even know where they displayed it in their store. These sales people at this store all have one thing in common they are full of it to the point that they will lie to you till they either sell you something or can’t float their crap anymore and then they treat you like you’re the problem. I hope someone contacts me from this place to allow me to prove to them that they are not treating their customers right and should really do something about it . It...
Read moreThe cable could’ve been run any number of other ways, but he kept drilling a hole through the wall of our rental home bigger and bigger. It’s now 2” and we can’t get anyone to refund our service fee or call us back from Segwick to fix the hole. Our landlord lives across the street and now we are not only fearful of the repercussions of this hole, but there’s a gap in the paste he used to fill it in, it’s winter and raining, and this hole is next to our baby sons crib and our bed. Not to mention, of all of the places the router could’ve been placed, it’s on my nightstand with easy access by our infant and our toddler. This man also showed up without a mount to actually mount the device and blamed it on Best Buy for not telling us one was needed, and then wanted to charge us $85 for the mount and another $40 to come back out and mount it properly. We’re livid and the level of service we’ve received in the aftermath has been so immensely poor, save the lovely woman with Sedgwick intake that we dealt with. We don’t have an endless supply of money and we work very long hours, and I work two jobs, just to have what we do. To have not only our money squandered like that, but to be let down by everyone involved is very disheartening. At this point, we paid $230 just to have something done that we ultimately could’ve done ourselves, minus a 2” hole and a mess that took me about an hour to clean. Now we’re likely going to end up having to find a way to pay for the repairs to fix the damage that was done. Up until now, Best Buy had been wonderful to us. We purchased our fridge, PlayStation and Starlink through the same Best Buy. If this doesn’t get sorted out appropriately and fairly, it’ll be the last thing we ever buy from them. We’re all out here just trying to survive, and it took us well over a year to even be able to afford to do this. Now look at where we are. It’s a great position to have put us in. Gross mishandling across the board and our family has been very let down. For the record, some of the staff in this store is amazing and whomever was contracted to deliver our fridge last summer sent the two sweetest men that were hardworking and kind. This should be who is aimed for in terms of customer service...
Read moreNew Review I had to remake this review because my experience last night at this location was horrible. I went in to buy a mid range large size tv and a sound bar, fortunately for me Amazon had everything I wanted, cheaper and they could deliver it sooner. I went in to see if I could work out a deal on this since I'd rather help out a brick and mortar store and not Jeff Bezo's so I was hoping they'd price match or something.
I stood there for 20 mins waiting on a manager, I saw him leave the back office, walk past me, and 15 mins later walk back into their office right past me, after I had asked 2 employees to grab him for me. I shouldn't have to wait that long just to give you a bunch of money. Luckily I was able to buy everything I needed from Amazon on the walk out of the store.
Original Review "Overall quality has dropped a lot in the last year or two. The new layout is nice but the last 2 years my family and I got our phones upgraded there they would screw up our phone plans causing a lot of headaches and increased monthly bills.
Annoyingly (in a good way) they have kept me from moving to digital only games as their Gamer's Club Unlocked keeps the physical copies cheaper the digital. 3/5"
Update to the original review Quality has continued to drop and I just can't warrant shopping here anymore. We've had to stop going her for cellphones cause they were costing us 100s of dollars each year in unwanted plan changes. When I would come by I could never find what I needed nor could I get timely help. I remember working here and people would play a game where they would see how long they could go without getting asked if they needed help with anything. Apparently this is an easy game...
