Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Woodland

We have hit and miss here, but this visit was, by far, the worst My husband, my daughter and I went for dinner. It was busy, but it looked like there were several staff on our side of the restaurant, I saw 3. Food; my husband's cod was way overcooked, and very dry. We ordered the 9 piece, meatball, kids meal. When we received it, there were only 7 and we had to point this out to the server. She went to get us the other 2. When they arrived they were hard as little rocks. My husband asked for another order of fries and also the mud pie dessert for us to share. We received the dessert, but not the fries. When she returned to us, she had our check, and told us, "whenever we can, no rush." She didn't ask if we needed/wanted anything else. When she came back, presumably for the payment, my husband remarked how we had not received the fries. She went and got us some. Which I then had to tell her we needed them to go. The servers rarely were spoke to us. They were not checking on us at all. The manager didn't even bother to talk to us, when we complained about the rock meatballs. Very...

Listen to the other reviews. Their fries are extremely salty and cold, I gave up on finishing them. I came exactly at pickup time and there was no one at the front door counter. There was also no way to let anyone know we have arrived since where the employees were they cannot see outside since they're so deep in the restaurant. We literally thought the restaurant was abandoned so we went inside. Once we walked inside, we finally got an employees attention and she told us to wait outside. If you were expecting a pick up time, wouldn't YOU be outside doing your job? She was kinda nice, kinda rude, kinda didn't care. It didn't matter to me since we didn't have much interaction. I ordered one of their "finest" burgers which was the upgraded version of their most basic burger expecting it to taste better. The patty was burnt and the buns were really soggy. The whole burger was just sort of cold but I was so hungry I ate the whole thing so at least it's palettable. My coworker told me this specific location was super delicious but I guess the quality has gone...

We visited around 8pm on a Sunday night.

It would have been 5 stars but they sat us down at a table near the bar and I didnt realize until after we got the food that we didnt have utensils...

But it was okay because we had the cod fish and chips and didn't really need a fork. It was meaty, with a hint of real fish smell(a good thing) and not too bready. You know, not like other places where you get a large portion of something, bite into it and notice that the fish swam away and escaped.

The tartar sauce was delicious as I prefer the sweet kind. And my coconut pineapple smoothie was a terrific version of a virgin pina colada.

Let me say, too, that the service made me feel special as everyone who served us were very friendly and accommodating. They even split our meal into two plates since we weren't that hungry. The waiter came around enough times to make sure were doing okay.

We told him we wanted more of this and that, and got this and that in a timely manner.

And no, we didnt ask for a fork...
