We've never returned from lumber runs with bleeding body parts, so this was a first!

We have done business with this location for many years and had always been pleased with the material and customer experience. In June we purchased 2 sheets of plywood and some lumber to be loaded into our truck.

A very young employee driving the forklift had improperly loaded the material on the lift, then proceeded to slide everything into the truck bed. As you can imagine, the load shifted and would have damaged our truck except my husband reached out to divert the damage and wound up having his arm scraped and injured.

Another employee witnessed this event but did not pursue with my husband OR report this incident to anyone onsite in management.

I called and spoke to the manager about the improper loading of the forklift, our potential vehicle damage and most importantly, injuries to my husband’s arm. Not once did he offer an apology during this phone conversation which made me even angrier. This situation could have been a LOT worse and the “meh” attitude was NOT what I expected!

Ordered some lumber for a job which was supposed to be delivered last Fri. It didn't "make the truck". Said it would be there Monday. Wasn't. Finally came in. Went in and paid for some additional wood we needed. Was told to go out in back and someone would help us / show us where it is. Sat there for a good 15 minutes and finally just drove around until we found someone. That guy told us that they didn't have any of what they took our money for...how do you take an order for something you are out of? Had to go back into the office to fix that mess! To get the wood we needed to finish the job cost us another $400! And...we had to wait at least 40 minutes for them to pull it and load it.

Prices beat every big box store in town across the boards (pun intended)! I called them All! Mike at Woodstock Lumber was very helpful and respectful in helping me get the right lumber and in helping understand what I was doing with it! The delivery was less than the rest and they ended up sending it out for free - waived the more then fair delivery charge. I ended adding to project and increasing the order several times - they were responsive and got me what I needed fast! You can trust your getting the best value here! They are a one stop shop for all...
