I had a very unpleasant experience at this store. While trying on a cardigan, I was deciding between two colors and discussing it with my friend. In the middle of our conversation, a store associate interrupted us and asked if she could take one of the sweaters I was still deciding on and button it up.
I politely explained that I had just tried it on and needed a bit more time to choose. Instead of simply giving us space, she started talking about how “some customers roll clothes into balls and hide them on shelves.” It was a strange and condescending comment that made me feel unfairly judged for doing nothing wrong. My friend had to step in and tell her we were going to buy one before she finally left us alone.
I did purchase the sweater, but the experience left me feeling extremely uncomfortable. Shopping should be enjoyable and respectful — no customer should be interrupted or treated with suspicion while simply making a purchase decision. I hope the store takes this as constructive feedback and provides better training on how to interact with customers professionally and courteously.
