C&K Market — Local services in Yachats

Went to this store today. The employees were unwelcoming and rude. I was trying to look at the salad stuff where employees were standing, they did not let me approach by saying 'we are doing something here' and I couldn"t get lettuce then. I will not go back. I will drive to another town to avoid this store. I also went to the casheir will my full cart and she sighed with annoyance audibly. I tried to say a friendly goodbye and she just turned and walked away without acknowging me. i spent way too much money there and deserved to be treated better. I have never been treated so poorly by the staff at a store. I would not even give it a star but it won't let me do less...

I really appreciate having the market here in town rather than having to drive to Waldport, Newport or Florence. But, only go there if you absolutely have to. Its very expensive. Its small and always crowded. You can get most anything you need but you're going to pay out the @#* for it. Get your fresh fish from Luna Sea or one of the other local fish mongers. There is some convenience pre cooked grab and go kind of stuff here - chicken meat, tacos, etc - but I've never been tempted. Stock up before...

Nice place to have around BUT, possibly the most expensive grocery store I've ever been. Actually when I was in Geneva, Switzerland there might have been a comparable there.
