If you are thinking about coffee and are in Yachats stop just thinking and go to the dream machine coffee shop. Firstly to say this understated place being dog friendly is a gross understatement, your dog will feel as welcomed and apreciated as you are. The people that make this place happen obviously have a great relationship with eachother, and it is evident in the vibe when you walk in. So lets just get down to the bottom line, coffee! If you have the time just take a look at the machine that makes this amazing coffee work, the design is nothing short of elegant sleek. Lucky the barista who gets to combine their skill with this stradivarius of a coffee machine. I am talking about yes the dream machine made by slayer it has taken coffee making to a level beyond compare. Wondering why your drink tastes like nothing you have experienced before? Read moreI started with espresso. I was delighted to be served a small glass of mineral water alongside, showing a respect for the coffee. The Burundi shots were pulled perfectly, very well balanced with a bit of funk. Next I was served a Chemex pour over (no drip carafes) of Brazil coffee. There’s a fine line between roasting coffee light enough to maximize the flavor profile and going so light that the acidity is out of hand. This was spot on and the flavor notes sweetened and shifted perfectly as the cup cooled. My wife had the Golden Dawn with espresso. This drink is special. It’s like a Chai reimagined and executed perfectly. I’m not a big fan of milk-based drinks but this one changed my mind. Lastly the customer service was top-notch, the atmosphere was inviting and intimate. The aesthetic and even the lighting was creative and beautiful. Our next trip the PNW will definitely include...
Read moreMy wife and I love this place. Everyone who works there is super nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the indoor seating is very comfortable with many outlets for charging devices. They have to go cups and regular ceramic cups for in house. We went every day while vacationing in Yachats. They have wifi and a bathroom and I was able to do my work each day that I needed to get done. Their cappuccino and latte are perfect (the coffee roast/grind, microfoam texturing, and art are really well done). $5 for medium, $6 for 16oz large for cappuccino. We also tried their house made granola with fresh fruit ($10) and really liked this (it is gluten free which my wife needs). Also had the Oregon berry smoothie and granola with smoothie and both are very good. The smoothies are custom made rather than from a packet. Also tried the orange cake and blueberry cake which...
