If i could put zero stars as a rating I would. They used to be a great place to go when Brian was the manager. He was willing to work with me when I was late on a payment, he was always helpful when something went wrong with the phone I purchased. Always pleasant and a joy to do business with. However, now they have Shawn who is the epidomy of harassment. I did some research and Rent-a-Center had to settle claims for harassment and contract claims for King county in Washington state with the Attorney General's office back in 2009. It seems to me that the Yelm office didn't get this memo. Shawn has called me repeatedly (more than 6 times a week) which is a violation of that settlement i mentioned earlier for a late payment on a phone that I have been paying on for over a year. I tried to reason with him and offered a patrial payment because it was all I had, but he refused to accept my payment. He went as far as threatening to call the cops and actually made his staff members Tony and Matt sit outside my house to wait for the cops to show up. I was finally able to have my uncle send me the other half of the payment, but once I made the payment ($121.40) he said I had to pay another $113 for the next payment the very next day which obviously I didn't have. He may smile in your face but he is a completely different person on the phone. I literally have 10 more payments left on this phone and I promise I'll be filing a lawsuit for harassment and violation of Washington's Consumer Act for Thurston County because King County has the right idea. I feel sorry for the employees that have to work under this man. They are pressured to do what he says in order to keep their jobs. I mean i could understand coming after a customer who never paid their bill, but that is not me. I was a loyal customer who made regular on-time payments. Once my bill is settled I will never do business with them again. Shawn has ruined any future business for Rent-a-Center from anyone I know and anyone who reads this. Please beware of this business, I think each location is different because like I said I didn't have any issues with the previous manager, but as long as Shawn is in charge at the Yelm, WA location...

First I was uninvolved from auto pay when I had to change my card, then I was late for 2 weeks after that because they never saved my card when I called to fix everything both weeks. And now that they fixed my payment date went from Friday to Monday out of no where. Which I can fix that, but it is frustrating that I've had to go through this much...
