Gravity Coffee — Restaurant in Yelm

I usually make my own but treated myself to a coffee out and was surprised by how horrible my experience was. The service was SO bad, I have never been treated like I was less important as a customer. Way over priced drink!!! Also even after I requested light on the ice for my drink (I'm already aware of this trick)the thing was still all ice, barely any coffee. The girl was either doing her best Billie Eilish impersonation or is just a b**. Either way you need to leave the attitude at home and do your JOB. I tipped, told her to have a nice day and she barely responded. Coffee ended up spilling once I was home and honestly, even though I do not have money to waste, I did not care because it tasted so bad I just counted it as a sunk cost and went about making my own. They need to care more about who they hire and how they train them because what they have now is only working for them because of the overinflated prices and screwing ppl with over iced drinks. As someone who was a barista through college, it sickens me to hear what the baristas are going through at these stands. Telling someone they won’t become a manager because of their weight is sickening. I don’t doubt that this was said because I’ve been to almost every location and have never seen a bigger girl. The owner sounds like a sleeze ball which isn’t surprising considering the screen shots going over the internet. Not only that, but my experiences there with the amount of ice they put in the lotus is absolutely INSANE. It’s a shame. The girls are so sweet and deserve to be treated better. To the mean girls who work there- shame on you. Treat people better. Grow up. This is a job not...

Waited at the window to order for a long time. There was a another vehicle that showed up on the other side and the barista was just chatting away. The barista did not even ring that person in the vehicle up as it appeared that they did not order anything. Finally she came to the window and we had learned that they were all out of the base so no blended drinks could be made. We ended up saying no thank you and left. The service was awful, just sitting there to learn that the other car who pulled up just wanted to chat woth the barista and all that time we waited our drinks could not even be made. Went across the street to Starbucks and received much better and professional service....
