My first experience at this salon was wonderful, sadly when I went to book my appointment for today the man who helped me the last time was no longer there. I went ahead and booked my appointment anyway for the 3 services I needed. When I got inside and picked the color I wanted I was standing there with 2 other women who I assume also had appointments and had picked their colors as well. Two of the 3 nail techs came over to take us all back to start the services, Iām not sure what all was being said because they were not speaking English but to me it seemed as though one of the tech was arguing with the owner over taking care of me right in front of us all standing there. Completely embarrassing and unprofessional and nothing like my first visit! I was about to turn back around and leave truly. Instead I asked to use the bathroom while they sorted that out. When I came back out luckily the one tech who was at her station during the dispute over who would take me ended up being the one to help me. She was nice enough, my last service unfortunately was with the one tech who made me feel so uncomfortable and seemed to be arguing with her boss over helping me. While it may seem like my service would result in lesser tip because of a lesser cost that couldnāt be further from the truth. I always tip way above 20 percent especially if the service is good and my nails come out nice. Needless to say I donāt think I will be returning there again to be made to feel so uncomfortable within minutes of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSarah is adorable, kind, and has the gentle touch of an Angel. I needed a Manicure & Pedicure and was referred to Total Nails by my new awesome hair stylist and colorist at the Hair Vault. Well, what a pleasant surprise! The location has easy access & parking right beside my fav Verizon expert, Food Lion, ABC store, and Heritage Dry Cleaners in Youngsville. What a find for a newbie! For those of my generation, you might remember 'Queen for a Day". That's how I felt with Sarah! Her cute little accent (she & her little family are newbies also) she said, "close your eyes take a nap". I ordered the powdered nails, and an awesome massage for my legs & hands, and even the hot paraffin wax which made my arthritis in my hands & legs. Thank you sooo much, Sarah! I'll be back! And thanks for your Mandatory Mask š· policy. Made me relaxed and safe and in good hands. Oh and the bonus is since Sarah wears glasses like me, she made fog-free masks at a more than reasonable price. Too cute designs & soft cotton at your face. I do wish she'd make some I could wear to WFPC with a Christian Christmas theme, and maybe some with a little books š design to give as a gift to my favorite Librarian at Louisburg County Library & my granddaughters. Sorry didn't mean to write so much, but it was a happy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMade an appointment a day in advance. Came in felt rushed through my pedicure so I offered to come back another day. Was told it was fine. But when they realized I didn't want gel polish got upset and kicked me out before my nails were dry. I'm literally sitting in my car drying my nails on my heat vents. Don't waste your time if you want to be treated like a human. Oh not to add I was asked where do you normally go to get your nails done. And when I answered I was told maybe you should start going back there.... horrible costumer service. I always tip I'm always polite and kind. This was completely unprofessional and uncalled for behavior! Don't say it's OK to do my nails for my appointment time then blame me for having to leave with wet hands. I will be going to a more professional salon for a polish change tomorrow bc I'm sure they will be messed up by the time...
