Fiesta Mexicana — Restaurant in Youngsville

UPDATED: 25 October 2024 - another great experience at First Mexicana. My wife and I got the lunch specials today. Great portions of food at a lower price. How can you go wrong? I got the Chipotle Creme Burritos and my ride got the Enchiladas Mexicana. Both were very good.

I highly recommend Fiesta Mexicana!

UPDATED: 06 June 2023 - Always great food and great service! Good value for your money. Tuesdays they have Taco Tuesday - 99¢ for one beef or chicken hard shell taco. My wife and I get the fresh made guacamole, a couple of tacos, and it's a great meal! 🌮

UPDATED: 14 February 2022 - Stopped in for lunch today and the first and service were awesome!! I got the Fajita Quesadilla lunch special today, it came to the table quickly and piping hot! It was very tasty...

I write this with a heavy heart as we have been coming to this specific location for the last four years, almost weekly. We even came multiple times a week when I was pregnant. Today we arrived excited because we haven’t been able to dine here in a while, and this might truly be the last time we dine at this location. Not only did we wait thirty minutes to be seated, with a dining room at less than half the booths filled, but we had to ask three and four times for simple things (napkins, just our chips, lemons). It took twenty plus minutes for our food to arrive (when others who were sat well after us were also getting their food), and most of the food came out lukewarm, the other cold. Basically, meaning our food sat in the kitchen without it being delivered to us. We sent one entree back because the shrimp in the meal were still cold. I talked to the Manager about it (first time ever complaining) and he offered nothing in return but excuses. That is not how you treat your regular loyal customers. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in the area, and it looks like now we will be finding our new spot to...

Crappy table, crappy service, so-so food at best... and a VERY decieving menu. ASK what comes on your food... Don't believe the menu... And then don't believe what you're told. Our waitress guessed when I asked her what the difference was between salads. All the salads said they came with a fried flour tortilla bowl... But one said that it was made with a LARGE fried flour tortilla bowl. When it came it was the same size as all the others I've had there (yes, this wasn't my first rodeo there). Also, if they need to add something that was left off your order... As was mine (especially beans), BEWARE!!! My taco salad was missing beans, onions and peppers.... And instead of adding all the missing ingredients, she simply dumped refried beans all over my lettuce which wilted it and made it soggy.

Bottom line, you get what you pay for. This place serves cheap food and cheap service. Don't get taken... Pay a few extra dollars and get decent food with service to match... Unless you like...
