As a busy business traveler, I'm always on the lookout for authentic local spots that offer a true taste of the city, and Warehouse BBQ is exactly that. It's the kind of no-frills, food-focused establishment that delivers big on flavor, making it a perfect find for someone who wants a genuine culinary experience without a lot of fuss. My first day experience was definitely not a "one-off" experience! On my first visit, I opted for the classic 2-meat plate, a perfect way to sample their smoked meats. The pulled chicken was a standout—tender, moist, and infused with a deep, smoky flavor without being overpowering. Paired with a side of creamy Mac and cheese, it was a comforting and delicious combination. The cornbread was moist and slightly sweet, a perfect counterpoint to the savory meats, and the collard greens were cooked to perfection, tender with a nice bit of seasoning. To drink, the strawberry lemonade was a refreshing and sweet choice that cut through the richness of the BBQ. My second visit was a deep dive into the more unique menu items. The brisket was everything a good brisket should be: smoky, fatty, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. But the true revelation of the day was the fried ribs and pork belly. The fried ribs had a wonderfully crispy exterior that gave way to juicy, fall-off-the-bone meat—a must-try for any rib lover. The pork belly was equally impressive, with a rich, decadent flavor and a perfect balance of crispy fat and tender meat. Of course, I couldn't resist getting another helping of their fantastic Mac and cheese. While the location is geared towards takeout, the quality of the food speaks for itself. Warehouse BBQ is clearly focused on the craft of smoking meat, and it shows in every bite. For a traveler like me, this spot is a jackpot—a place where you can grab a phenomenal, satisfying meal that feels genuinely local. The menu offers a great variety, and you can tell that everything is made with care and passion. I'll definitely be back to try more of their delicious offerings on my next trip...
Read moreI’m gonna start off by saying Warehouse BBQ is a great place to eat for sure. This restaurant has been serving delicious BBQ for about 5 months now, and has gained a reputation for its quality food and great customer service.
From the moment you enter the restaurant, you're greeted with the aromatic smell of smoked meat. The decor is classic, with a rustic feel, which is perfect for a BBQ restaurant.
Moving on to the menu, it features a wide range of BBQ classics, including ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. There are also many other meat options, such as chicken, turkey, and sausages, which are cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
One of the must-try dishes of Warehouse BBQ is the ribs. Their ribs are slow-cooked for hours, and the meat falls right off the bone. The flavor is a perfect balance of sweet and smoky, and the sauce is absolutely delicious. Another must-try dish is the brisket, cooked low and slow, and so tender it can be cut with a fork.
Aside from the meats, the sides are equally impressive. The smokin’ bomb beans are deliciously smoky, and the yams are perfect. The mac and cheese is rich and cheesy, and the collard greens are to die for.
The drinks menu features a variety of homemade juices, like strawberry lemonade, sweet tea, and the best of all is the koolaid. As the owner says it takes me back to when I was about 9 or 10 years old.
What makes Warehouse BBQ stand out is the service. The staff is attentive and friendly, and they're always happy to answer any questions about the dishes or recommend items from the menu.
In terms of price, it's definitely reasonable considering the portion size and quality of the food, and the service you receive. It's worth noting that it could get busy during peak hours, so you may need to wait at max 10 minutes, but trust me.. it's worth the wait.
All in all, Warehouse BBQ is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves delicious BBQ. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch, and you'll leave with a satisfied belly and a craving to return. Highly...
Read moreMy wife and I went here today to try it out - takeout. We ordered two of the two meat trash’s. Max n Cheese, Okra, Collard Greens, and Hush puppies and I also added a corn bread to try. We both got the pulled pork with an extra bun to try the sandwich.
Mac n Cheese: very good. Most places give you that nasty Kraft mac n cheese but this tasted homemade, wasn’t overly cheeses (you can still taste the noodle) and I do love that a little burnt cheese that you sometimes get. Best I can compare it to is Chick-fil-A and it’s definitely better.
Hush puppies: They had actual corn in them. Very moist and tasty. I won’t say it’s the best hush puppies I’ve had, but that could be preference. They did taste amazing!
Okra: Was crispy, flavorful, in my top 5 best okra I’ve had.
Collard greens: very picky with collard greens. Wasn’t a huge fan but I like a super southern salty green so I can’t say they were bad. Im not saying anything should change.
Pork: BBQ sauce was good. My wife wishes they had a vinegar option but I do love tomato based BBQ. I think they could’ve put a little more sauce (or maybe I should’ve mixed it first) on the pork. The pork was soft and tender. Paired well with the bun. Definitely will have it again. Probably the best BBQ around the area. I’d say top 3 for me.
Cornbread: By far the best cornbread I’ve had. Might even beat homemade cornbread. It’s moist, not crumbly, soft, had real corn in it. The top of it was spongy while the rest of it was bread-like. All around just amazing. Will probably opt to get it every time we come here.
Lastly, I love that they’re locally and enjoy supporting local businesses. The portions sides are well worth the money. Personally, I would reduce the portion side and the price as it’s a lot of food! My wife had leftovers.
Will definitely making this our...
